real snow chains clearance with icon uca 2016 trail

any real world experience here with some actual snow chains, like say vbars or ONORM reinforced diamond chains (tirechain.com on 285/70 r75 's on a 2016 trail? with icon UCA'S

seems like plenty of room, cable chains are not going to do the job offroad in a foot of snow.

i've read a lot of the snowchain threads here but none seem to deal with a gen 4 with oversize tires.

anyone tear off a brake line or abs sensor or have uca problems.

What wheels do you have?

I think in most cases you'll have more of an issue with the body mount area and/or the front bumper clearance. The same places that it's a tight fit with larger tires will be worse with larger tires and chains.

Depending on conditions I usually prefer 10psi over chains in deep snow. But snow varies a lot, so it depends on a lot of different factors. With big flotation tires, I'll take low pressure every time. But with the relatively small tires on most 5th gens, it could go either way. I'd try low pressure first though.
