5th Gen 4runner working Automatic headlights

Hey Guys,

I did this mod almost 3 years ago on my 2014 4runner SR5 Premium and it works perfectly without any issues.

The only oddness is when you pass under a bridge the light turns on it is a bit sensitive but still worth it IMHO

I actually got the information from a Tacoma forum member about the module and relay setup but the wiring is slightly different by the headlight switch connector.

I will post the pictures and diagram and the module information soon.

NOTE: Do it at your own risk.

Thanks,

KB

I figure it’s has to be a relay trigger off that dash sensor. I want to add a relay to turn on my parking lights when I unlock 5th Gen 4runner working Automatic headlights

It’s one of the main reasons I’d get a new 4R, believe it or not. The sensors are usually on or near the rear view mirror, and I can’t imagine that this would be an easy mod.
