let me see your 5th gen HAM install pictures (non permanent)

I just got my Ham license and want to do a install that will not damage or permanently alter the T4. I had seen a clamp that goes on the center console
and holds the radio on a mount but can no longer find the set up
so if you would please post your non permanent install pics.

What kind of Radio? Like a BaoFeng handheld? I've used 3M Dual Lock Velcro.

Not specifically a HAM but I used a magnetic phone/tablet mount stuck on top of the dash for my GMRS radio. The radio bracket sticks like glue and I need to put a pretty good pull on it to get it loose. It hasn't shifted on there in the couple months it's been mounted. I was so impressed with the magnets in this little guy I ordered another one and am trying to figure out where to put it.

Somebody here or on TW 3D printed a bracket that hung off the side of the console by wedging into the skinny pocket and held the unit vertically. Is that it? I'm not inclined to search for it, but I recall seeing it. Might have been in a CB thread.

All from the same guy in a 3rd gen Taco, but similar concept would work for the 4R:

I have a Yaesu FTM-400 mounted under the seat, display overhead and microphone on left of center console. Everything is removable with no damage.

i just bent up and cut the faceplate bracket that came with the radio, just wedge a peice of aluminum in there and the clips should still hold fine assuming your faceplate isn't heavy.

This is my install. Drilled a hole in the side of the stereo surround and mounted a Ram Ball, then short arm and Ram Ball on the back of my FTM-400. Still working on mic solution. Just starting the install, eating it one piece at a time.
