Washing machine quit last week. Bought another.
Hooked it up, started the first load in it, when I am informed the the oven isn't working. Stovetop does, no oven.
So we now have a new oven too.
So much for the CBI skids and front bumper.
On a positive note, got my quarterly bonus so that I covered the washer.
Then got a 2nd smaller bonus and that is my front facing camera (anytime backup camera kit) that I just ordered.
Important with the prospect now of Grandbabies in the yard ages 2, 1, and one on the way.

"Anytime backup camera" kit arrived today. VERY fast shipping!
Now to find the right time to install it. Many irons in the fire (future pun) with little time off to work on them.
Have the camera to install. Got metal today to continue my vise and grinder stand projects. Which will go along with my anvil stand project. I'm intending to try my hand at hobby blacksmithing (see above pun).
It's not as hot today, 99°. But chance of rain tomorrow. If so, the 4runner is getting muddy(er).

"Anytime backup camera" kit installed.
Functions as advertised, but I have an issue with illuminating the switch with the dash lights. I'll address that another day.

I used the CTH kit at a fraction of the cost but made my own harness.
Reason why your switch illumination are both on is because they didn’t use isolation diodes in there design.

Today I drove around our property with the sunshade on the windshield (blind) using only the front camera.
Going slow, I didn't hit anything (fence or bushes).
Just had to try it.

Let's see...
Got the other molle panel. Now the back is caged in.
Just installed the Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 suspension, JBL upper control arms, and CBI aluminum skid plates.
Ordered new tires today, Toyo Open Country AT3. Truck currently has the original version, just AT. Will have those put on next Tuesday, then hopefully an alignment.

When I got home after the tires (Discount Tire) and alignment I checked the air pressure and wheel nut torque.
Torque was fine. Air pressure was a tad high. The tires were all set at 45ish psi. Some higher, some lower. My gauge tops out at 45. Lowered them to my summer, not offroading 35 psi (cold).

Next up, ditch lights.
Bought a relay bracket, wiring harness, and "OEM" switch a few months ago (CaliRaised).
A pair of lights a couple of weeks ago (Tractor Supply).
Plugs to connect the lights to the harness arrive today (Amazon), brackets to mount the lights (Lasefit) should arrive tomorrow.
I don't want/need super-duper lights for ditch lights because I'm going to use them as.... actual ditch lights. Round, 3½" work lights. Inexpensive so "those that know" are less likely to steal them. If someone does, they're only $10-15 each.

Mounted the brackets and lights, also the relay bracket. Must look groovy even if they currently aren't connected to the electrical system.
I just got home 2 days late, after being stranded in Albuquerque. Work tractor broke down and the part needed is on back order. Our shop had one. Gave it to a load coming my way. Got it installed and drove the short 500 miles back home.

Wired the lights between thunderstorms. They seem like they'll work as I hoped (flood beam quartering to each side).
Now need a couple "add a taps" for the OEM switch

Drove it around a bit this evening. Makes quite a difference where I live. Nearly all dirt roads or tracks. Finding crossroads was challenging. It's all open range so there are cattle lurking where you don't necessarily expect them (burros too).
Next, to wire the OEM switch.

OEM switch installed and everything functions, though not as completely as I would like. I'm always pressed for time. Kind of ironic as I just started vacation.
Relay is connected directly to battery. When we go to town today I'll get an "add a circut" and connect it through the tail lamps fuse (both fused @ 30a).
The other thing that bugs me is I have yet to find a dash light circuit for the switch backlight. Seems simple, but I run out of time for finding where to connect. I now have to switches to iluminate. To add insult to injury, the ditch light switch is next to the dash light dimmer, lol. Again, lack of time. Need to get ready to head to Idaho for family reunion (700 miles each way).
