Odd 4WD Issue - shift of the fly
So, I did my install of my aluma 2.5” install and for whatever reason my 4WD light was blinking after the install.
Techstreamed it, all sensors were ok, no codes from any speed or abs sensors.
More trouble shooting with my friend who is a Toyota tech, thought maybe the ADD, so we pulled the plug and put 12v to the motor and it moved both ways, so that wasn’t it. Went to the transfer case actuator and that moved as well too.
Looks like they got out of sync at some point, got them back all in 2H and light went off.
If I put it in neutral and put it in 4H, no problems, even if rolling. If I try and do 4H on the fly 4L starts blinking and no 4H at all. If I try 4L at all the same error.
If I put it back in 2H and turn it off, it all resets.
I am completely stumped on this one...anyone have any ideas?
