19 ORP W KDSS, what size spacer to level?

Hi guys, I want to level my OR with KDSS. Was going to do a cornfed 1/2” spacer in the front to lift it 1” but I recently saw in another thread that the rake on KDSS vehicles is anywhere from 2-2.5”. Why would KDSS affect rake? I thought it just affected body roll. If that is the case should I go with a 3/4 or even a 1” spacer? Kind of hesitant to lift the front 2” with the stock shocks though. Thoughts?
Thanks

Hey I saw that thread too. Best case scenario is to measure your own car. I measured 2 inches of rake on my 2016 KDSS. Make sure you set tire pressure the same on all four tires and park on a flat surface.

Personally, I want atleast .75 inches of rake, so it doesn't look like I'm squatting when I load up.

So where is everyone measuring to, the top of each fender opening?

Take two different measurements. One from the lower part of your rim to fender and another from the ground. Let me know what you get.

It's been said before anytime one of these "leveling" threads shows up, but it's worth repeating: the rear wheel well openings are about an inch taller than the fronts. If you "level" so that the fender openings measure equally, your frame will have a reverse rake.

Also, the accepted standard for measurement is from the hub center to the top of the wheel well opening.

I'm glad you brought this up.... As others were saying KDSS vehicles have 2.5inches of rake and I'm only measuring a 2inch difference from the fenders.

With that said, I probably do have 2.5 rake? Or are you saying I have even less rake. I'm kind of confused.

Alright, so I went back to the drawing board. I tapped up my center hub and got a measuring tape. My measurements actually came out different this time.

Front Driver/Pass: 19.5
Rear Driver/Pass: 21.85

"Level" is in the eye of the beholder. It's not an exact science -- for one thing, the amount of time you spend staring at your vehicle when it is sitting at rest on an exactly level surface is brief. Or should be, at least. Lifting the front anywhere between 1" and 2" more than the rear results in what most people consider an attractive stance. I feel like any more than 2" lift in front compared to the rear can result in a negative rake look, especially when the rear of the vehicle is loaded with stuff, but others may disagree.

So I stumbled across this thread and saw what you were talking about
"center of hub to top of fender measurements"

So my question is what does KDSS have to do with affecting rake? Has anyone compared to a non KDSS OR or TE? I swear looking at an SR5 the front looks like it has a bit more lift than my KDSS OR. I really like the stance of the Pros so that’s why I want to do the 1” in the front but wondering if the 1” on my KDSS will not look the same as the Pro. On an aside has anyone had a dealer install spacers?
