I updated my installation post with a review after 2 months and about 2000 miles. Because of my essential status and shift work, about half of my driving (if not slightly more) is night time.

Anymore beam output photos? I was told by GTR that the bulb base now fit the 4 runner without shaving.

After a lot of research, I pulled the trigger on GTR for both high and low beams. The lows needed no adjusting and have a sharp cut-off. They might have slightly less throw due to being in a halogen projector, but the much higher light output is so much better. I have an eye condition called EBMD and it's made driving at night annoying if I'm facing oncoming traffic. The brighter headlights really help with this. The old halogens were washed out by oncoming glare, at least to me. There is a good cut-off and I have not been flashed once. The H11 GTR Ultra 2's DO FIT in the housing with no adaptations, cutting, or grinding.

I liken the high-beams to turning on the sun, making a dark country road almost daylight bright. I bought the PWM module, so there is no flicker. The DRL is "dimmer" than the high beam, but not by a lot, so I don't use them. However, I have tested them on rainy days and have not been flashed, so maybe it's my eyes.

I'm sorry, but I don't have before and after shots. I don't live near a place dark enough for that to be practical.

Looks like no sale. Also looked on a couple sites and they still sell them....but, they do not list it as compatible with any street vehicle along with other dealers
This is listed right on the info from GTR...not street legal in the US

For the amount of people driving around with no headlights, DRL only, or high beams on all the time, I really doubt you're going to get pulled over for non-DOT approved headlights provided they are functioning without strobing, bouncing all over the road, or lighting up the space ships with their nightly anal probes. Cops have better things to worry about than to determine whether your headlights are street legal. Running around with 20 LED light bars on might get you pulled over, replacing your overpriced short lived halogen with a brighter better alternative will in all likeliness not.
The only DOT legal lights left on my truck are the 3 brake lights, everything else has been replaced with something non-DOT approved.
I did get pulled over once for lighting, my license plate lights were el-cheap-o brand and started strobing intermittently. Being they are on the rear license plate I never knew. Not even a written warning, just a let you know you have a problem so you can replace them.
The ONLY way I could see this being an issue is if you reside in a state or county which requires annual inspections, and your selected inspector is a (big phallic symbol). In which case you take your vehicle to another shop and pay them the fee to pass you or replace the lights and go back to (big phallic symbol) who's robbing you anyway.

Where I live, I haven't heard of anyone being pulled over for regular headlights being out of DOT specs. Don't blast the light bar or run with purple lights and you'll be fine.

I’m about to pull the trigger on these and am wondering if any of you guys purchased the anti flicker module? Will this addition fit behind the dust cap?

The bulb fan DOES fit behind the dust cover, the anti-flicker PWM module, which connects into the high beam does not (nor should it.) I zip tied my PWM modules to the frame.
