Trusted installation provider in SoCal?

Anyone in SoCal know a good enthusiast level installer/parts provider in SoCal? Maintenance shop local to SD that knows their stuff?

My girlfriend just got a new TRD ORP and is eyeing to install the front metal bars on the SUV already. I'm just not too familiar with who's out there or what.

SoCal 4Runner Shop Thread

Don't know who/what's in SD area, but there has been lots of shops written in there that I would check if/when I'd need their services

The Truck Shop was highly recommended by the SD Tacoma owners.

I have taken my 2020 Off Road premium to the Truck Shop over off of Miramar Road. They will do just about any suspension / mod you can think of for a 4Runner. I had them replace my valances, add tires, and do an alignment. Quick in and out as well.

You recommend against them? Her reason is in case someone backs into her where the 4Runner will be ok. I've always felt that if they were screwed in or welded on, it could actually damage the frame that it's attached to. Since the SUV has a crumple zone, it would be working as designed (without the bull bars) should she get hit without damage to the frame.

Apologies in advance. I'm not too familiar with the 4Runner trends and meta concerning it. Best I know so far are the maintenance items from searching and that's really all I care about. Everything else is entirely new to me, but asking because she loves it for some reason. In addition to adding overhead lights.

Chances are if someone hits the bull bar hard enough, the mounting point (usually thin metal) would bend and the bar would be pushed into the bumper anyways.

It's called damage multiplier for a reason.. minor hits will damage your hood, grill, and headlights.
