So you don't need longer screws or anything like that with the OEM grille? I've seen a lot of people say they need to get longer screws when they do the grille upgrade is that only for aftermarket?

Thanks,
Bobby

Just wanted to let everyone know a little PSA if you're getting the grill pieces for your 2020. After you get them, make sure the part numbers are correct down to the last digit, and make sure the stick-on piece has the cutout for the sensor.

The wrong stick-on piece was sent to me. It was resolved 100% perfectly by the company I bought it from, but I didn't realize it at first. The part numbers for the 2020 stick-on piece and the piece from before 2020 are very similar, and the warehouse pulled the wrong one first time around.

As of 8/1:

EB Toyota Parts 10% Shipping Code: CB10
BAM Wholesale Parts 20% Shipping Code: MINUS20

For me, shipping via OEM Parts to you was cheapest (even with CA Tax).

Strange though because BAM Wholesale Parts had the cheapest shipping 3x days ago.

I'll have one in hand sometime soon I think. Anyone can come grab it $100. North Jersey, Alpine. Manhattan some days. Thanks.

Thanks for all of the info in this thread. I just ordered mine from McGeorge, which was the cheapest, even with the shipping discounts that just started for August.

Lol...

BAM just sent me 2 TOYOTA Garnishes...

One of them being the 2020 one (the one I'm using)

and the other one being for pre-TSS ones (without the cut outs)

Probably a dumb question but is there any reason not to assume that these part numbers will work on a 2021 Venture?

It'll work for the 2021, installed one on my Venture.

I'm glad to hear that you did this on a Venture already. How well did the black TOYOTA bumper garnish from the Pro match the black front bumper valance that comes on the Venture? Do you have a pic you can share?

I was wondering how it would look if the finish was slightly different on two black pieces so close together.

The garnish and the lower valence are different finishes (matte vs semi-gloss) but it’s that way on the Pro as well. Here’s my 2020 Venture with the Toyota OEM garnish. I think it looks great.

For what it’s worth, my local dealer price matched the best price I found online (including shipping) and they had the parts in stock (garnish and upper grille).

That’s looks awesome - very tastefully done.

I am surprised that your Dealership was willing to price match and that they had the parts in stock.

Thanks! I was surprised they were too as they are known more for selling Priuses to Amazon and Microsoft employees than being an enthusiast dealer, but they do sell tons of 4Runners and Tacomas too. They also have a display in their parts department with other TRD goodies like skid plates and wheels and stuff.

I didn't need any longer screws when doing this swap with the OEM garnish/grille on my 2020. Everything bolted up perfectly. FWIW, all of the screws that come off the original upper grille are the same length and work fine on the new OEM upper grille. I suspect the "longer screw" issue is only a problem on the aftermarket grilles.

Thanks for the help, I'm glad to see it looks great even if the finishes aren't an exact match.

I'm in Seattle too, do you mind telling me what dealer price matched the parts? I got my Venture from Lake City Toyota a couple of weeks ago (silver as well, but the 2021 has black rims so we aren't exactly twinsies) and haven't gone back for the plates yet. I'm crossing my fingers that they are who you are talking about. They do have a display of TRD wheels and running boards so...
