I'm in Seattle too, do you mind telling me what dealer price matched the parts? I got my Venture from Lake City Toyota a couple of weeks ago (silver as well, but the 2021 has black rims so we aren't exactly twinsies) and haven't gone back for the plates yet. I'm crossing my fingers that they are who you are talking about. They do have a display of TRD wheels and running boards so...
Howdy neighbor! I actually almost bought my 4Runner from Lake City but ended up buying from Burien Toyota because they made me the best offer by far on my trade-in. Bellevue Toyota is actually the closest dealer to me so that's where I tend to go for parts. They also seem to have the busiest parts counter. It seems like every time I'm in there there's a few built overland rigs out front with customers in buying parts or accessories. So that's who I contacted about the grille parts and was pleased to find they had the 2020+ parts in stock and were willing to price match for me.

You got me excited for a second talking about Burien, that's actually closer to me in West Seattle (about the only easy place to get to from West Seattle these days). Going to Bellevue to get an online price match isn't bad though so I'll definitely take advantage of that. I think I'm going to do the black TRD Pro hood scoop too.

Buying a Venture was tough for me to pull off. There wasn't a lot of stock because of the pandemic and nobody wanted to give much of a discount because it's a "Special Edition" and they were selling the 4runners about as fast as they got them in. I was searching 1,000 miles around, was considering flying to Bozeman but the one they were advertising wasn't on the lot yet. Then one with the sunroof I wanted showed up at Lake City and they worked with me on the price so it was meant to be. Lake City did have two TRD Pros but they were both marked up $8K over MSRP. I probably would have bought one if I could have paid MSRP but they laughed at that idea.

We just got our 21 Venture from Toyota of Olympia. We're out here on the Olympic Peninsula, so no dealers nearby had one. I love the black accents on our silver rig and definitely want the Pro grille, but $450? I'm debating on the Overland Depot version, but OEM is king for body parts... Damn my vanity!

Does anyone know if the upper grills are the same? I would like to keep my blacked out Venture center and just replace the upper to get rid of the bars.

I wonder why there is such a price discrepancy between the 2014-2019 parts, and the 2020-2021 parts? For earlier models, the heritage bar itself is $90 more expensive, and the grill insert above it is $60 more expensive.

I was reading reviews about the new grill from Overland Depot. And it looks like their new version for the 2020+ has no gaps on the sides like OEM does, so it might have some rubbing if there is any bumper flex. It's super tempting though.

Received and installed the 4Runnerlifestyle.com blacked out letter grill yesterday.
4Runner TRD Pro Grille (2014-2021) — 4Runner Lifestyle

I took my time, so I spent about an hour doing the install. I could have done it quicker, but I was being careful with pulling off the original top grill piece.

I am very happy with the results on my 2021 Venture.

EDIT: Added Predator lights today from Overland Depot.
4Runner Raptor Lights — Overland Depot

That looks really good DF4Runner2018. Reviews seem positive as well on the website. Might go that route as paying $400+ for OEM seems a little crazy.

Yes. All lights are stock 2021 Venture lights, with the exception of the raptor lights.

Thank you very much! Super easy install. I don't have big gaps on the sides of the garnish.

A little bit more detail: I tried to work in the PRO grill on my deal, when I purchased the Venture. Toyota (not sure if this is from time-to-time or permanent) does not allow the sale of PRO parts to people without a PRO VIN number, so going with an aftermarket option may be your only option. They would not sell to me.

Soooo... Thanks Toyota. You saved me around $400, give or take.

Find a new TRD Pro on your local (or any) dealer's website, as they put the VIN# on the website. Copy and paste that VIN# over email or over the phone.

*They don't require you to own a Pro, they require a pro VIN#.

Try another dealer. I walked into my local dealer parts counter and told them straight up I was buying it for my 2020 Venture and they had no beefs at all with it. They even matched the lowest price I found online (including shipping).

So for those with the 2020+ we could just dremmel an opening at the bottom to save ~$80

Interesting. I just called Bellevue and they said they weren't able to price match online, only dealers within a 30 mile radius. Maybe they changed their policy or I have to physically walk in and try. Hopefully they do price match online because that would be a steal to get them locally.
