Gotcha. My 2017 came with halogens and I just replaced them with the OEM LED ones, but with the black housing. They look identical to the Morimoto fogs you installed. Well, except I put yellow filters over them - 5000k just doesn't make any sense in a fog light.

So open to other's opinions on which suspension direction I should go in...

I originally was debating between King, Icon or staying stock with Eibach's new spring for the Pro suspension.

After talking to the suspension guys at GAS, as well as reaching out and speaking with Accutune (some of the best in the off-road suspension tuning game, who sell Fox and King), both parties suggested I don't go with Kings. GAS skews Icon. Accutune skews Fox. Both acknowledged that all three brands are amazing no doubt, but each had their preferences and each said no to Kings for my setup.

According to both, Kings will ride like butter but they're also very finicky and will need rebuilding much earlier than the other two. Icon is solid and Fox seems to be the most durable in terms of life before having to rebuild. Icon will ride slightly stiffer than Fox.

Again, these are the opinions of these shops from their experts who tune and install countless rigs.

That said, since this is a daily driver, I will not be going with King, although I really wanted them. I also don't want Fox, reason being I currently run the Pro Fox's and if I'm changing out, I'm not changing to the same brand...personal preference.

So I guess it comes down to Icons with rezzies in the front...or Eibach's new spring for the current Pro Foxs. Because of the weight of my bumper/winch, I'm scared the Eibach spring won't be heavy enough (600lb spring rate) to hold the front without sagging. Also, the Icon system will allow me to fully adjust height and eliminate any lean...

Anyways, thought I'd share and see what you guys thought as well based on your real life experiences. Thx

I'm on mobile so search does nothing. There was a thread last year something like mods you have regretted. I was surprised when so many said if they had a second chance they wished they did not go icon and most wished they went Kings..no personal experience, just a thread in this forum I saw. I'll try search when I've the time and on desktop

This is just me but I would throw on the Cornfed spacer lift since your Pro fox suspension new brand new. Cheap lift and Gswift was very happy with the spacer lift. Unless you have the extra money to upgrade I think you will always get different opinions. I would check with HeadstrongOffRoad and see if Maria still is handling the ordering. She is very knowledgeable that’s where I got my bilsteins for my 15 Tacoma years ago. And see what she suggests.

Check out @ehcanadian ... he has some brand new in box Icon extended travel with CDCV and 700# spring that would possibly work with your added weight. Its a pretty fair deal too it seems like. He has them posted in the 5th gen Sale/Wanted thread

Coils don't cost that much if you need to change them. When you are paying King and Ikon prices for suspension, the cost of changing coils is not all that much.

My advice to you is to stick with your Fox, which is excellent quality. If and when you actually have front-end sagging, then address the spring issue.

In the meantime, if you want to lift the front up 2" on the cheap, spacers will do it. I had them in mine and they were faultless. Very easy, can always remove them too.

I saw his listing. I would have snatched them up, but they're 700# springs. Way to stiff for my weight. According to the shops, 700# would make it too much of a stiff ride on the pavement. 650# is the sweet spot.

when i did my research seems most people are against spacers if your over-landing, but if you just want the look and a little lift its ok it all depends on your use
your Rig is looking awesome i really like the front bumper and winch.

I don't see the difference between adding a spacer, or adjusting the spring perch height on a front shock. Lots of people extol the virtues of adjustable height front shocks. But spacers are frowned upon?

OP already has top-quality suspension, nothing wrong with adjusting it.

Correct. Spacer can always be an option, but right now I have bounciness and sag because of the weight of the bumper and winch, so even a spacer or the new Eibach spring which will be a 600# spring might not help with that. That's my dilemma. Wondering if any suspension experts would know if the 600# Eibach spring they're creating for the 1.8" of lift would have stiffer characteristics than the current Fox (Eibach) spring on the stock Fox suspension?

Do we know the spring rate on the factory Fox suspension?
