Silver Interior Door Handle - Replace or Repaint?

My rear interior door handle finish got worn through from having a car seat rub on it. I haven't seen this piece on any of the online part catalogs for sale separately from the whole door panel. I definitely do not want to replace the whole panel. So what are the best options?
  1. Find a factory replacement.
  2. Repaint it and try to match it, its not next to any other silver plastic trim so if it wasn't perfect it might not be to noticeable. Anyone have a match?
  3. Wrap it with some sort of vinyl, but I would need to do all the other pieces.
  4. Use one of the hydrographic dip kits and ad a carbon fiber pattern to it. Again I would need to do it for all of them. I'm not sure how this would look as I haven't seen the finish in person. https://youtu.be/DgEjrtBprlo

First two options seem like the simplest.

I would repaint it. Be surprised if you couldn't find something similar in color. Vinyl wrapping would be a nice DIY. Perhaps wrapping it in carbon?

Any good local body shop should be able to paint that and match it no problem.

I suppose, I'd have to get some estimates. I'd imagine for there time they would probably want at least $100 even if I take it off.

I haven't done any painting my self in about 8yrs, I know the paint types have changed to water base since then. I could stop by the local autobody supply store to and see if they could mix up a match. Probably better than trying to find a rattle can variety that would match.

You would be surprised. I would simply ask a couple shops and see. I would guess $50-60.

6. Buy a new 4Runner and deduct the purchase price from any college fund or inheritance the child receives.

The chip looks not too big so I would just use a touch up paint to fix it.

Do you know of a matching touch up paint for this? I think the piece is small enough to where I would rather paint the whole thing, if you have a close match for the paint let me know.

There was a post in the past where someone drilled holes in the center console piece (with the cup holders), they were in the wrong spot, and they filled them and spray painted them and it looked pretty good in pictures. Anyway, if you want to try it they they type of paint and color were listed ... but I don't know which thread it was
