Hi KalihiRunner,

You didn't give much info about your particular vehicle; year and trim, but I'm guessing it's a '14 or '15 4R (judging by the color of the Speed-o-meter face)... There's a 15A fuse in the driver-side fusebox that feeds/protects both foglights; I'd start there. You didn't say who makes your HIDs but if the fuse is blown, i'd check the Bulbs, Harness and Ballast to find the cause of the blown fuse... "something caused this problem!"

rig, cheers

Yes sir! That'll be the same as the 2014 schematic prints that I just referred to!

Is the fuse box under the hood?

FYI: Per another post, you may have to upgrade the fuse and or wiring if it keeps popping due to the HID's:

Okay... Now check the OEM foglight harness that plugs into the ballast; you'll probably find power there... "you can just reinstall the stock bulb into that socket to test that"! You most likely lost your ballast... I keep a couple of spare HID bulbs and ballasts in my truck just in case I lose one at night!

'Best to you'!

Please for the love of god do not "upgrade the fuse", this is incredibly dangerous. The purpose of the fuse is to be the weak link: weaker than the wiring, the switches, all the connections. If you swap a 15amp fuse for a bigger one without verifying that every single component is rated for a higher current then you are just shifting the failure point to somewhere else. You do not want your wiring to catch on fire. The fact that the fuse blew already tells you that you are overloading the circuit.

OP should resolve the problem that lead to the overload in the first place or run a whole new properly-fused circuit with a higher capacity.

That fuse was just doing it's job! I'm using the OPT7 HID lowbeam kit. They're built very well and only set me back $33 bucks; that's why I can keep a set in the rear cargo area as "Truck stock"! They've been in for about seven months and no electrical issues! Here's a shot of the product:

..."glad you got yours straightened out!"

rig, Cheers!
