Question - How do you clean the undercarriage after a muddy trip?

As the title says - how do you guys clean the undercarriage just after a muddy/snow trip?

Pressure washer? If so, any places to avoid? What pressure PSI should I use?

What degreasers would you recommend?

Do I need air compressors to dry stuff out? Or could I do without it?

I live in Southern California - and amazingly can't seem to find car washes/detail centers that do the undercarriage.

Please advise?

Thanks in advance!

PS: I did use the Forum Search, but, some photos weren't showing up in Photobucket.

The key is to get to it before it gets caked dry. Ive used a lawn sprinkler with a fan spray underneath the for like 30 minutes loosens everything. Then a hose with a spray nozzle and sometimes a brush then dry everything with a leaf blower.

I use a ryobi water broom on the end of my pressure washer but a aprinkler would work as well.

LMAO!
If I did the sprinkler thing (good idea) I'd have a bigger mud mess than I started with.
My yard, 2½ acres, is all dirt. All the homes for miles around are all dirt (rural AZ, very rural).
Guess I could head to a boat ramp on the Colorado River and soak each end.

(Note: do diff breather mod first)

I just run it through a car wash that has underbody spray.

You dry the undercarriage?!? Do you do that after you drive in the rain too?

Not after rain but when I wash the truck and also after a snow storm. Water and its impurities tends to get things rusty. 2 decades of driving my 2000 without rust.

Decades of beach driving. Run thru twice. Vehicles generally have gone 8-12 years with little underbody rust.

I have used a gutter cleaner on the end of a hose. Reaches underneath easily. Works well enough.

I don't have this particular one but something like this - https://www.amazon.com/Orbit-58543-T.../dp/B00CLOG5MK

We have plenty of car wash places with under body washing. I also give a once over with hose. Thick goo and lawn sprinkler are great combos.

I use one of these. I removed and plugged two of the nozzles in order to get more pressure. Works pretty well.
