HOLY SH1T

Can’t imagine the wife was thrilled with that one Lol.

I’ve wrinkled up my fair share of vehicles so I know that gut wrenching feeling all to well. I had a close call on a greasy off camber trail and almost slapped the rear quarter into a tree. The pucker was real.

Baller move though to just fix it, and head back out there though. Hat tip.

Yeah, I got away with ignoring some smaller stuff without fixing it, but I couldn't ignore that. More detail back on page 1 of this thread. But yeah, on to the next one!

Couple more photos of the aftermarket lighting, I'm still impressed.

Mild drive down Rampart Range with the family. Followed this up with an oil change for both diffs.

Hit up Mosquito Pass, Weston Pass, and Mt. Lincoln over the weekend. Passing oncoming traffic was sketchy to say the least on the back shelf of Mosquito (pic 3).

So....you're standing with your munchkin downslope from a lifted 4runner with a rack...and you're taller. Perspective????? Or are you one o them tall ones?

I'm a tall one. 6'7".

I do make the 4runner look small.

Short video from a rutted spot on Mosquito Pass. Looking at the video, it doesn't look all that difficult. I remember doing this stretch prior to lifting the truck, and I was scraping all over the place.

New tires. My KO2s had 45K on them, and I had been dealing with a leak for quite a while. It was time for some new ones. I came across a deal through a family member on some (already) cheap MTs, which were not really what I was looking for. I was planning on an AT in 285/75/17 before these came up. Decided to try them out, because hey, they're likely better than what I had. And I got them bought and installed for $100. If I hate them, I haven't really lost anything.

They're noisy at 55+ MPH, but not unbearable. I'll see how they do in the snow, that might be a deal breaker.

No rub, but I haven't stuffed them yet.

Ironman MT 285/70/17. Up from 275/70/17.

Thanks! We'll see how long I keep them for. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Keep me posted on that roof rack! Apparently I'm a bargain hunter when it comes to mods.

I'll e-mail you more about the time frame and what I'll be selling.

I'm still looking forward to seeing some 285/75's on the rig!
