Hey Guys,
I am too new here to post a new thread, but I will respond here since it is relevant. I am from over at the 3IS Lexus forums, where we had a similar issue with the fuse cover and an "Add a circuit" style connector not allowing the cover to fit. I modeled up a cover for this, and while looking for fuse diagrams, I come across the 5th gen 4runner cover, which in appearance is identical to the IS's, and also looks the same as the 6th gen 4runner.
Anyways, just trying to help out some other Toyota bros, if this helps you. I may put this up on thingiverse in the future, but considering that people are selling similar items, I would hate to see someone selling my model back to our community. With that being said, I will provide the 3D printing files free of charge to anyone that is a member of T4R.org, just PM me and I will get them to you, so that you can print your own. You will want to print this out of ABS for the interior temps that happen in a vehicle.
For those of you that do not have a printer, or are unable to print in ABS, I own a small 3d printer business, and can work something out with you if you PM me.

The fuse box layout changed for the 2020 model year. I’m not sure if the physical size did also. I have a 2018 ORP. The cover is 41mm X 91mm on the inside that would snap over the fuse block. Does this sound like your design?

You are right, I think it was the 6th gen that I saw, because the tab on top on the 5th geb is on the opposite side as well...
As far as the inner dimension, I could easily change that to match, but getting correct dimensions for the tab on top may be problematic, and that tab has a locating hole in it to grab a tab... The ID is 40mmx103ish.

When I measure from the backside top left corner as origin, it’s 23 mm to the left edge of the hole. The hole is 3 mm wide. From the right edge of the hole to the right edge it’s 15mm. Total 41mm. The tab itself is 15mm.
Then there’s the bottom tab/holes.
From the backside left top corner: 7mm to the first hole edge. Hole is 3mm. From that hole right edge to left edge of next hole is 22mm. Hole is 3mm. Then 6mm to the right edge. Total of 41mm. But the hole placement is not symmetric.
There are some tolerances involved here, it may not make much of a difference, but I could mail you my cover if it would help you get better measurements.
PS, the ID label is 84x34 mm.

If you would like to send me your cover, I can do that, but based on your measurements, I think I was able to get it pretty close. The top offset tab, just appears to be a mirrored version of the other cover I have, but the bottom feet where also inset a little bit.
I have changed the model to reflect these, its up to you if you want me to print this model out and set it to you, or if you would rather send me your cover first.

To add to my confusion, I thought the 2020 4Runner was the 6th gen, I am seeing that it is still a 5th gen and 6th is not out yet even though these forums have a 6th gen section (remember I do not own a 4Runner), but it does appear that the cover I thought was identical to the IS was from a 2020 4Runner. So it is possible that the 2020 4Runner will fit the IS fuse cover.
I am taking this information from post #5 here, that cover looks identical to an IS cover, top tab and all.
2020 fuse box diagrams?

Yes. The 2020 4R is still considered 5th gen. I believe your initial extended fuse cover will fit it’s fuse box.
It looks like your new design will fit the 10-19 model years. I’ll send you a PM.

I ran without a fuse cover for about 2 years, and I'm 6'5" with very long legs. Never had an issue, but always bothered me that it was uncovered. I got a Meso fuse cover and have been very happy having it covered.

...but I'm not opposed to buying the 4Runner version off Etsy either. Let me know if you mind sharing the file, or if it is better for me to just purchase it off Etsy.
Cheers!
