Excel spreadsheet. Column for date, mileage, hours (if applicable), vehicle system affected, short description, detailed description (including part number or brand, observations, etc.), and who did the work (if it wasn't me). One for each vehicle.

This is what I was going to suggest, anyone with a Gmail account has access to spreadsheets and you can create pretty much any type of logbook you want in there and then have a separate sheet for each vehicle.

I put everything in fuelly.com . I export Fuelly to an Excel spreadsheet to do additional calculations and as a backup to the website. I also have a spreadsheet that I use to print out and keep in my truck showing my current maintenance status and some basic service info.

HA, can't say I have thought about that.

I also thought about buying a roll of oil-change stickers since they are cheap: can't delete that.

I use a simple Excel workbook. Have a "maintenance/repair" spreadsheet/tab with:
Date Mileage Service Who Performed Brand and Part Number Purchased From Cost (minus tax) Tax Total
Comments Next Oil Change/Tire Rotate
Have a "Accessories" tab with:
Date Mileage Item Brand Part No. Vendor Cost Shipping Tax Total
I store it on OneDrive so can access on laptop or phone.

The Toyota Owner's app allows you to upload images, so I'll often do that as part of my log. You can also snap a quick picture of any receipts (i.e. alignment, tires, etc.) and add that as well.

I've been sending off a sample for oil analysis at every oil change just to keep some level of 3rd party recording as well should I ever have a major warranty claim. Once the truck is out of the 5 year/60k I'll likely switch to every other oil change for an analysis. Probably overkill, but more data is always preferable.

Oh good to know! I got lazy about it, I had written it down but hadn't gotten around to actually logging it somehwere.

I added my last few services and mileage into the Toyota Owner's site on my laptop, di not even think to check to see if there was an app. Adding photos of receipts and stuff sounds good.

I wish this linked with carfax though, my carfax show's my 4R as missing 2 services (oil changes I DIY'd).

Mine is way out of warranty, but I'd like a good svc hstory for resale. I just can't bring myself to bring it to the dealer for fluid changes though, haha.

As with others, I find using Google sheets works fabulous for this. I track date, mileage, description of work, who did it, and cost. I’ve been doing it this way for about 10 years on about seven different vehicles and it’s always come in very handy. I can access it from home, from work, from my cell phone, etc. Plus it’s free if you have a Gmail account.
