Removing Small Rear Bumper Piece

I am trying to remove the smaller plastic piece that is above the hitch. (52151G) I’ve searched and only found how to remove the entire bumper or rear valence. Has anyone had success in removing just this piece? I tried and broke one clip already. Wondering if there is an easy way besides taking the entire bumper off.
Thanks in advance.

I did not know there was a hitch cover on our T4s. I have a rubber cap over the 2 inch hole, that's my hitch cover.

If you have a custom cover, maybe with lights, it may be held in with a locking hitch pin. Look back above the safety chain loops.

My picture didn't load through my phone on my original post. It isn't something that goes into the hitch. I'm talking about this smaller plastic piece connected to the bumper. Not sure what its called exactly, but the part number is (52151G).

Thanks

*Bump*
Can I change the title of this thread? I didn't see anywhere to do that.

You have to take the bumper off. On the backside of the bumper there are 2 white clips that hold that trim in place. I just had to do this to install the silver TRD valances.

Does this work for the front too? Like to install an aftermarket bumper? Didn't know if the trim piece came off the front or had to be cut off.

You don't have to take the bumper off. There are couple clips from the bottom that you need to remove first. Then you can slightly bend outward that cover to reach with couple fingers below to remove the two clips. Of course with bumper removal is easier but it will take you 30 more minutes as there are a lot of screws to do. Done both ways.
