3) Intermittent bluetooth issues between phone and Entune (this can probably be fixed with software updates on both Toyota and Android/iOS)

My old Ford expedition would go through brake pads every 25,000 miles. So with what you have on your truck and use it makes sense.

2017 ORP zero issues
2018 ORP zero issues
I have had problems with the dealership oil change crew. They should be closely monitored.

How sure are you it's the pillar?

33k on my 2016. Only real problem is front dif needle bearing, that I've decided to fix myself with the aftermarket bushing.

At 37,000 miles, really only one mechanical issue. The second row seat back release cable disengaged from the bracket. The fix was simple by crimping the cable bracket tighter with some high-leverage pliers.

Only real "issue" is that my steering rack has been leaking for a while... A few have had it replaced at around 150K. I'm at 110 and its still OK for now.

1 blown lift gate strut, that's pretty much it.

2016 TE 41k miles. All good here. One dealership visit for the airbag recall. No squeaks, no door lock actuators broken (yet), no front diff noise (yet).

2016 TE Premium with 89,000 miles.
1. All four door lock actuators have failed and had to be replaced.
2. AC Blower motor failed and had to be replaced. 2nd AC Blower motor is occasionally acting up (fan speeds increase or decrease with no input, clicking sounds, etc.)
3. Entune head unit is crap and cannot connect to iphone with contacts enabled. It's past time for a major software refresh.

‘18 SR5. No mechanical issues. But ...
* Seatbelts. They always twist when putting them on. Belt refuses to lay flat across my chest. Retractor is weak, I have to work with it each and every time I park and exit to get it retracted all the way. I had a ‘02 Tacoma that was the very same.
Otherwise the only issue is not the vehicle, but Toyota accessories.
* Cargo privacy cover - 6” gap front and rear. Opening and closing constantly hangs up on the 3rd row seatbelts.
* Cargo floor mat - thin plastic. Slides around. Feels crappy for the high price.
* Cargo net across rear - Rolly things fly right through it upon lifting the tailgate. Lost a 1.5 liter bottle of bourbon, several gallon jugs of water and milk, lots of cantaloupe and watermelon.
I also have a ‘12 Subaru Outback. It’s OEM privacy cover has no gaps. The OEM cargo floor liner is thick rubber and feels premium.

My steering wheel is peeling slightly. Also, on the center console where the shifter is, there are some slight "chip" marks. I have 83k miles, and no mechanical failures. Both cosmetic issues were there when I bought the vehicle at 59k.

I have a similar problem that turned out to be the rubber around the windshield squeaking on the glass. I use a little bit of silicon lubricant sprayed under the seal every once in awhile to quiet it down. It’s a pain to get it under there but it does work if you find the spot where it’s squeaking.

Good to know. I'll check out the windshield for squeaks. Drives me mad sometimes. Never thought it would be that.

Ok, I do have an issue.
Family doesn't want to go 4-wheeling. I have no friends to go 4-wheeling with. So I have to go solo.
Not ideal for someone new to off-roading.
