Wow. Looks just as nice as the T9. Wasn’t sure what it would look like with the knobs in the lower part of the unit. Any suggestions for install once mine comes in?

I never see folks talk about the HU sound quality, power for OEM speakers, replacing speakers, adding a amp etc. just curious how it sounds straight out of the box.
Yes
yes
yes / both
The sounds is the an upgrade from oem. I feel as if it was tunned in a 4runner so I say its pretty dam good.

Light bleeding from the buttons / the brightnes a bit too high.
The volume control takes alot of clicks to go up or down, but then again it helps to put the volume at the perfect level . Small minuscule issues.

The only thing I did not like much is that you cant use the oem mounting brackets but I can easly make some.

The hardest part might be routing the gps and mic. Other than that, is fully plug and play. I say is close to perfect.

I ordered an adapter so I can use the original sharkfin antenna on the 4Runner, so I’m not gonna mess with that. I’ll see what happens with the mike.

Maybe not much, but Dasaita is/might be a known brand so hoping that gives a more stable unit and better radio experience with less glitches than the t9. Output is 50 watts vs 45 on the t9 so slightly better on the Dasaita. PX10 chip on Dasaita, 10.2 inch screen, hdmi out, supports 4K video, built in Zlink for wired/wireless carplay and wired android auto. Got mine on sale Fathersday weekend for $599 and eBay gave me another $50 off so got it for $549. Not too much difference in price from t9.

All good points .. if it had a more competitive price I think the market would open up - for the price and minor differences the T9 seems like the better buy still.

The screen size looks deceiving. It's listed as 10.2 but looks a lot shorter compared to the T9. It's an inch wider but seems smaller compared to the T9.

Too expensive for us Canadians

Got the same email that other users have and they want me to buy and once I post something of a install to YouTube I’d get 50% back but I’m not into that! At 599 usd to Canadian that’s 800$!!!! Even at 50% back that’s a little too rich for me. Plus duty plus tax . Glad this got some users a nice head unit and wish I could afford it but for now I just Velcro my phone to the dash sideways for directions.
