Slee Off-road compressor mount

Has anyone installed one of these with the ARB dual compressor? I’ve mocked mine up and looked over the instructions but I’m having a heck of a time trying to access the bolts to mount this thing.

Did you mount the compressor to the mount prior to installing the mount?
What am I missing?

you will have to mount the compressor before installing the mount. you won't be able to get underneath to access the bolts to secure it. that's what I did with the rago, mounted then installed

By far, one of the worst things I’ve ever had to deal with in my life

I remember having to take breaks outta frustration n arm cramp

Took hours n I spread it over 2 days

Great mount n all, but was nearly impossible to get those bolts in

Micro turns n take your time

Seriously one of the worst designs I’ve seen in a long time. I may just shitcan it and try something else. I’m worried about having to take it out again if anything goes wrong or I need access to something else in the area.

I don’t often regret aftermarket parts purchases, but this one irritates me.

look at the rago mount. I have an unused slee mount in my basement, I got the slee then immediately ordered the rago. the rago I mounted my compressor to first then installed it. I have taken it out multiple times and had no issues reinstalling (ratchet extension and swivel socket make this easy work for the bottom bolts). I've had it out at least 3 times to run ditch lights and ham radio wiring. good design and doesn't put pressure on the rubber hoses coming off the engine like slee does

I’m looking into the “runnin4tacos” vertical behind the grill mount

I posted somewhere else my concerns however…putting on new bumper/winch n need room for control box n also what would happen in an accident, etc

But it would free up space n I’d probably just utilize the slee mount for electrical stuff

I dunno…right now I’m getting no projects done cause I can’t decide on a new battery….ohhhhh Dakota lithiums
