They're used synonymously. There's no way to derive the actual day/time of manufacture without some serious insider information.

My 2018 4Runner SR5P 4X4 isn't on the list(so far). Door Jam placard dated 1/18 and I purchased it May 2018.

Every Chevy/GMC pickup truck, Tahoe, Yukon, and Surburban built from 1995-2010 roughly has a failed fuel pump at least once in its life: General Motors does nothing. Ever.
A slight possibility of Toyota/Lexus vehicles having the issue: Toyota issues a recall the next year for all of them.
That's why I only drive Toyotas. The company is just better.

Lesser of two evils
If I had a choice between dealer replacing a fuel pump or replacing airbag in dashboard which has left 4Runner owners with humps in the dash, dash rattles, etc., I would take the fuel pump. Fuel pump is really not all that bad from the "what will they screw up when they do the work" perspective.

I would rather them just give me the parts.

Thank you. Mine matches the "order date" found on the owners page.
Looks like i came in just under the recall dates by a month.

Did they? I'm trying to find info on that (part number, manufacturer change, differences between pumps, etc.) but haven't found anything yet.
