Did a 2/1 lift on my '20 a few weeks ago and no issues.

Is anyone having anything happening with their speakers out of the ordinary?

I’ve had my 2020 for like 3 weeks and I haven’t had my stereo above 20 or so and I’ve got buzzing in two speakers on the passenger side. I also don’t seem to have much volume coming out of the subwoofer in the back. I mean, im coming from a 12 inch sub in my old car and I know this is an 8 inch, but it’s like its not even there.

EQ is set dead in the middle on treble, mid, and bass. Balance and fader are set to dead center.

I mean, if this is the top of the line Toyota system (JBL in the TRD Pro), that’s pretty embarrassing. I’m seriously thinking of having it checked out because it’s so underwhelming.

If you do that, it adjusts the bass up in all the speakers. I've already got two that are buzzing, and I've barely turned the thing up and its middle across the board.

The thing *should* have an EQ that isolates the sub, but it doesn't. Even in the middle, it should have some output though

I really don't like the sound in my jbl system. Too much bass. It's almost like the system has loudness always on. I have to turn bass almost all the way down and treble/mid both elevated. Wish I could just turn the sub off without making bass suffer.

Have you tried a quality source? Amazon HD is better than CD quality and makes the JBL sound a lot better than XM or HDFM

It doesn't matter what the source is, AA, BT, FM. Sirius, I have to adjust sound for all of them.

Tidal puts Spotify, google music, apple, pandora etc to shame. Amazon Ultra HD makes Tidal sound like FM radio. Just sayin it helped liven the sound in the 20 pro 15 speaker JBL.

Really?

I’m going to have them go over my system at the dealer then. Something isn’t right. It sounds to me as though the only things making bass in the car are the speakers themselves. Sub output is virtually non-existent

SENSORS AFFECTED BY LIFT -

I did the 3" Toytec/Bilstein lift on mine with, SPC UCA's and 285/70 tires. All was good until adding tires. PCS issue appeared when shop did tires and alignment. Been to 3 dealers attempting to re-set/calibrate. Not sure if the tire height was enough to put me out of tolerance but puzzling as others have done the same with no issue and another member is experiencing my issue with a 2/1 lift. The variance is puzzling. I even went as far as hacking up my grill and lowering the sensor which did nothing other than require me to purchase a new grill.

Just wanted to share my experience and would be more accepting of losing radar cruise if my center screen wasn't taken over by the PCS warning. Dealer is unable to clear the message, they can turn off PCS but not really sure what that means as it's disabled anyway.

This is why I went with the Pro which looks better from factory and will be why I probably won't mess with the suspension. I wonder if taking the rake out has more to do with it. If the vehicle was lifted, but with the same factory rake would the sensors go crazy??

I’ve been waiting for people to start to play with the 2020s and be guineapigs. I get really worried about messing with something like the TSS system’s ability to function properly, because it’s a lawyer’s paradise if you’re in an accident. It’s also one of the reasons I’ve been holding off on something like a C4 Low Profile bumper, even though C4 says the high bull-bar doesn’t have an effect on the TSS.

I’ll be really curious to see how this shakes out for you.

I'm not sure what would be causing your issue. I'm running the same toytec/blistensset up that you stated with 285/70/17 on and am having no issues. I know you've been to 3 dealerships but I wonder if the techs at each location just lack the knowledge on it. If you're interested I can give you the information for my dealer and maybe they would be willing to help.

There is also a gentleman on this forum who has a pro with a slight lift and low pro bumper and from what I can tell he is not having any issues either.

Find a new dealer, yours are clueless, plenty others have lifted with zero issues

2020 Nightshade Limited for my wife (replacing 2004 Sienna with 275kmiles), got one in Nov 2019. Already 8k miles on it including some light off-roading in Death valley and snow in Tahoe. She calls it a tank (she loves the truck btw) and I totally understand her.
Couple of mods so far:
- Shrockwors sliders - great investment, had to remove the rockers though and replaced them with the Shrockwors ones.
- TRD pro wheels with General Grabber ATX tires. Looks so much better than the stock ones. Tires works fine on and off road as well as in the snow.
- Clear bra paint protection on the sides and front
- Next would be to do 2/1 inch lift using Raugh Country spacers (#767). Any comments about this lift? Any alternatives for X-Reas suspension?

Main issues and things I don't like:
- Toyota standard crossbars. They are totally useless for me. I have Thule box and if I put them on those crossbars the box is touching the antenna on the back. Need to have something higher.
- Rear cargo cover - not sure who design this but it should be fired. It cuts the trunk space significantly, it's hard to install and remove and it just do not work right.
- Had some issues with the infotainment but after upgrade at 5k miles checkup everything works fine
- No central switch to turn on/off all the lights in the car (I am looking for something like the central switch in Siennas)
- Seat memory are in such a place that I have to use a flashlight when its dark to see the buttons

Other than that so far car is absolutely amazing.
