It would really help if there was a control for the sub.

I've heard rake to be the problem but I think the fact that I had no issues with just the lift and the problem appeared with tires and I assume the added height although only 1/2-1" increase I'm starting to think it's lift height. But then again I've heard from a couple folks on another thread that seem to have done a similar 3/2 lift on a 2020 with no issues.

I'm likely going to remove the spacers on the Toytec/Billstein coils and see what happens if a drop the front another 3/4" by removing the spacer.

I see lots of people saying this but I have yet to find someone where the dealer re-calibrated the sensor and fixed the issue so for now I'll choose to believe the dealers can't or won't b/c Toyota has the system pretty well locked to avoid liability. My dealer spent 4 hrs on this and I talked to 2 other dealers that told me they would have the same result.

I've been saying they've done mine and it works fine.

If you're interested I can give you the information for my dealer and maybe they would be willing to help.

There is also a gentleman on this forum who has a pro with a slight lift and low pro bumper and from what I can tell he is not having any issues either.
Thanks, much appreciated and my dealer did suggest searching forums and looking for solutions or others that have lifted without issue. An example of the exact set-up is interesting and frustrating as the odd case. Just looking get insights and I guess warn that it seems to be hit or miss on success.

I certainly will. Reached out to Pro Comp suspension today and the guy from there was awesome and really interested in trying to help. Even more impressive as I do not have their lift. He put me in contact with one of their guys at 4Wheel parts in HI and they seem very interested in understanding the issue and seeing what they can do to help solve this. If anything I appreciate people trying to help and will be sure to contribute anything I can on this. Big shout out to Pro-Comp and 4Wheel Parts, they will definitely be my go to for any future needs.

Thanks

Well, the talk about TSS issues with lift are disheartening. I guess I should have gotten the model before TSS. The thing is, unlike most, I don't hate TSS. The cruise control doesn't do much for me neither does the lane departure. But if for some reason my brain isn't functioning and I am not braking in time, having my dash light up and having it beep at me doesn't seem like a bad thing. Hasn't happened yet, but I don't mind it.

I guess I'll roll with stock suspension and tire size. I'll just replace the tires with an all-terrain and hope it gets me through driving on the beach, light and intermediate trails without lifting. It might.

Another benefit of not lifting means it will hold its trade in value better. Ive lifted all my vehicles and traded in has always plummeted because of it. At the very least make sure you can return it to stock easily.

got my 2020SRP back in december. yesterday i noticed a very hard shift going from parking to drive. it did not do that before.felt like something hit while shifting into drive. shifted several times and when going from parking to reverse, it shifts so smooth that you cant feel anything at all. but when you go into drive, thats when it does it. played around with it and there were times when the shift felt harder than other times.

Is anybody using Google Maps on Android Auto? I'm wondering if pinch-to-zoom and gesture scrolling work with the touchscreen.

Thanks!

So far, 8k miles on my T4R and it's been mostly a good experience. I will say that I cannot understand why the technology is so far behind or an afterthought when it came to implementation in these 5th gen 4runners. Specifically with the Hands free/bluetooth/Apple carplay and auto headlights to name a few.

Yes, I've done the software updates (head unit and IOS) and all the tricks with the volume and even sticking the phone and my pocket and still nothing fixes the God awful echo on the recipient end of the call. It's one thing to tell my kids or mom "sorry about the echo", but when I've got a business to run, pulling over to have a conversation with the phone to my ear is just a ridiculous thought in 2020.

For comparison, I've got a 2017 Lexus RC. Bluetooth works absolutely fine without a hitch everytime. It just makes no sense to me how a proven technology that's been successfully implemented in so many cars for so long just can't be done correctly. Calls through Apple Carplay aren't any better, but at least the new software version helped with the other issues.

Trying to find help, I came across this class action lawsuit about the echo issue:

Toyota Bluetooth Echo Problems Cause Lawsuit | CarComplaints.com

Ok, rant over.
