265/70 R17. No issues with rubbing although I have a feeling this is max what I could do without any extra lift or trimming.

Yes.
That's common with any vehicle of this type.

2020 TRD OR Electrical Issues?
Hi. This is my first post here.
I got a beautiful red 2020 TRD Off Road back in December. Everything was great until last week when I tried to start it and it needed a boost. (I’d been working at home so it had been sitting for a week.) After the boost, it was ok but I was a bit worried as I didn’t know why it was drained. Tried again today and it was even worse. I couldn’t even get the doors open with the smart key.
It’s basically brand new and only has about 2000 miles on it so everything is covered. However, this has me worried. A bum alternator, perhaps? Everything was fine when I was driving it daily pre-COVID-19.

Hard to say for sure since it was only a week the first time and it's unclear how much it was driven since it was boosted, but disconnecting the battery if it's going to be sitting for a long time isn't a bad thing to do.

Sitting for awhile, and short drives where the alternator doesn't have time to recharge the battery can be killer for a battery. Get it going with a jump start, and leave it running for awhile to ensure the battery gets a good charge.

By any chance do you keep the key fob in your car or very near to the vehicle when parked. The reason I ask as I read in the owners manual that this can drain the battery as the fob is in communication whenever near which can lead to killing the battery. I didn't have this issue with my 4Runner but when I saw the warning in the manual, it explained why my wife was having battery issues with her BMW as she used to keep the key in her center console since car was in the garage. Hope it's something as simple as this.

Interesting finds after an accident
So my 4 month old 2020 t-boned an Altima because the driver ran a red light. The impact was hard enough to bend the frame. The airbag did not deploy and pre-collision did nothing. So an 18k repair invoice, including a full frame replacement won't get me a replacement (working on that with lawyer). What troubles me most is that when I went to the body shop to get my belongings I took a good look at the infotainment system. This is what I found (see pictures). Three safety and drive systems faults from the factory (probably why I didn't get these fault warnings before the accident). Prior to that I noticed things like the inverter switch, and some of the other dashboard switches were not functioning. My concern is that upon researching Toyota airbags, I noticed that the current recall includes several 2020 models noting that noise and voltage irregularities may prevent deployment. As many of you multi-generation owners know, the 4Runners are usually not included with most recalls and to initiate one takes an act of god. I'm wondering if any other 2020 owners have these error codes. Its under the maintenance section.

Last time I checked mine, maybe 3-4 weeks ago, there were no reported faults or errors there. ~3200 miles on it, put into service 10/2020

2020 TRD Pro Premium here. With my headlights on auto mode, why is it that my headlights stay on indefinitely with the doors or hatch open even though I shut the engine off? The lights seem to stay on as long as a door is open.

It’s the “coming/leaving home” feature, or some equivalent - not sure what Toyota calls it. Should stay on X seconds after the door closes to allow time for you to get to your door and use your headlights to find the correct key to open.
If you want them to turnoff immediately just hit your lock button twice in quick succession after closing your door or flip your lights from auto to DRL back to auto after you shut off the engine.

I agree. I’ve had a Yukon Denali, F-150, and the 4Runner. They all sound the same and are hard to understand if you aren’t sitting still or moving very slow. Regardless they never have great sound quality. Girlfriends Subaru has the same issues. Honestly I’ve never had anyone talk to me through a vehicles hands free system that sounded decent.

They probably can't do anything. Look at your rotors before you drive it next time. Rotors get surface rust pretty quickly and the grit will cause the squeak for a bit. Tap the brakes a few time to clean up the mess and you should be fine.
I get it even in Nor Cal if the car sits for a while. If it's raining hard it might be over night.

Recommended oil change is at 5K intervals according to the docs.
My 2011 4runner (replaced with 2020) and my wife RX350 were both 10K. What's changed?
