Look into either the Pedal Commander or Sprint Booster. I have the PC and the difference is incredible.

Thank you, man. Been looking into the sprint booster. Looks like I should just order the darn thing, because I'm not real happy at this point.

Yes they took that away with the 5th Gen. We also lost the locking gas door. They sure are a lot roomier and more comfortable than my 2008. The 2020 tech is lacking a little but I did not buy it for the tech or the fuel mileage. I bought it because we love the looks and the 4 wheel capabilities. And the hood scoop on the Trail, oops I mean the TRD Off Road premium.

PC or Sprint booster as mentioned can't go wrong. On my 19 I did trd intake and trd exhaust. They just make noise. Awesome noise but the one thing where I noticed a vast improvement is the Sprint booster.
That or go magnason but that's to rich for me

I was able to update my TRDP yesterday and no longer have phone call issues when connected via CarPlay using an iPhone 11 Pro.
Thanks for the link, I updated my Pro a bit ago without issue. I wasn’t really having issues other than sporadic lockups but it can’t hurt.

That worked perfectly, updated without issue. I followed the link TeamHeq provided and downloaded the files from davidgasparyan he has a link to his google drive in his post, he also has the TSB and a readme on how to install it.

Attached Screenshots for those who might want to know before they start.

Android Auto Useless

I did the required software updates. Still having issues with my system.

In a nut shell, anytime I try to navigate using either Waze or GMaps, all AA screen controls freeze.

I am unable to determine if has anything to do with Entune or if it strictly a Google issue.

One week old TRD ORP and over 1k miles . My wife drives the hell out of it, coming from a 2019 Camry SE that was totaled last month. I can't wait to start researching and piecing together mods! I traded my 17 Limited Tundra for a 20 1794 Tundra before Christmas and if you guys think the 4runner's lights are bad then you haven't driven a pre-18 Tundra because they SUCKED. Now the Camry and my Tundra had/has LED's that are great but I cant really complain about the 4runner's lights. I did notice some brake squeal this morning when I had to move it but as soon as I got in my Tundra it did the same thing, goes away after a good braking at the first stop sign. Apparently Toyota's don't like the new iPhone 11, wife and I both bought the Pro Max about a month ago but I returned mine and went back to my Galaxy s10+, I've read the same complaints on the Tundra forums and the common factor seems to be the iPhone 11. She doesn't really get phone calls so have not experienced what that is all about but Pandora can sometimes be a PITA if you pause it on the head unit.

Had a 2016 Tundra. Headlights were also shit but after a certain point, varying degrees of shittiness don't matter.

2020 SR5 Premium here.

I've had the Carplay calling issue, it only happened after I setup the Wifi. I turned the wifi off hoping that would fix the issue, but haven't made any calls since.

Leaving the dealership the first thing I noticed was the lack of a daylight sensor to dim/brighten the dash. The Carplay looks great, but the screen is WAY too bright during the day.

I just installed the daylight sensor, found on ebay for $75: part number 89121-30020. This is not the 2020 4runner part, but it fits and works correctly. Huge quality of life upgrade.

Anyone want to sell me their front silver valence from a TRD OR?

Headlights are great compared to my 2000 4Runner limited OEM headlights...

You got the daylight lighting sensor to work on a SR5 premium? Interesting, as in that thread all of the SR5P guys said it didn't work.

2020 4Runner Limited Owner

Just purchased a 2020 4Runner Limited.

One thing I've noticed is the front bumper of the 4Runner has to be extremely close to an object before the sensors start to beep. Has anyone else noticed this? I'm afraid that I will run into something before it starts to beep...

IOS 13.3.1 released today - note says:

– Addresses a CarPlay issue that could cause distorted sound when making phone calls in certain vehicles

Maybe both phone and head unit needed updates
