Ethanol-free Gas Challenge!

Access all undiluted engine potential by using proper fuel. Ethanol in most of the gas (up to 15%) provides less energy and equals to less power at worse MPG. Now, the price of pure gas is higher and wont be offset by your mileage saving but you will notice the difference in the way your truck runs. I challenge anyone here to try 2 tanks of pure (ethanol free 87 grade) and then try to go back to the same regular 87 or any other grade after that. Keep in mind any regular gas in US has ethanol unless separate pump specifically says "Ethanol Free". Good luck

No chance of finding ethanol free gas in the liberal northeast. If the dems have their way with the new green deal, our vehicles will all be confiscated anyway. Don’t you know that by driving an SUV with poor fuel economy that you are personally contributing to climate change? Trade your 4runner for a Prius tomorrow!

I don't think I've ever seen ethanol-free 87 gas. Usually only the race gas at 100+ octane, whatever it is.

I'll agree with this statement. It costs the same as premium which includes ethanol, but at least for us in KC it's available at Hy Vee or most QT's.

Remember when gas was only 10c difference between the different octane levels? Now it's 40c to 50c per step...

That’s a great idea. But I only see non-ethanol gas occasionally on road trips in the southwestern states. I do use it when I can, but with one mixed tankful at a time I have no conclusions about MPG or performance.

X2 Ethanol is hard to find in the NE, though i have found it in upstate NY at a Mobil. Its out there but like you said these liberal states give little choice.

X2 on them trying to confiscate our SUV's. An 4R will produce 11.42 metric tons of CO2e with 20k a year. That's 2x what outher country's have for an individual persons total CO2e emissions (car/elec/goods).

I should have bought my R4 years ago. Now its going to be taken away just like our guns.

I don't think anyone is actually going to take away your trucks or your guns.

Doesn't mean they don't want to, or aren't trying to. Ask Beto.

Your heart is going to break when you find out what president recently lifted restrictions on the sale of higher ethanol blends

(Ethanol has nothing to do with green new deal or fuel efficiency, it's about the corn lobby)

In Miami area there is ethanol free around where people fill boats up, easy to find. It cost a lot more per gallon though, like 40 cents or so.
