This is not std on any model, its an option. My 2018 Limited has it and it was an option.

I just bought a 2020 TRD Pro and I wouldn't have bought it if it didn't have remote start. I hardly use the key fob. I use the app.

The install was pretty straight forward and easy besides one difficult wire to get to on the back of the BCM. Other than splicing that, it was super easy to install.

You're absolutely correct DallasTRDPro. I bought a 2020 Nightshade several months ago. We use the app all the time. The key fob never leaves my pocket.
You can even tap the top left side of the door handle to lock the doors, grab on the right side of the door handle to unlock. The remote starter app along with cloud navigation and a couple of other things are subscription based. So every year Toyota will be reaching back into our pockets.
Does anyone know what the yearly subscription fee is?

The factory remote start has always shut off the engine when you open the door.
I had that option on my 2015.
Still hoping Toyota sells a remote start module for the 2020s that don’t come with it.

Anybody know if any aftermarket lets the damn thing run when you open the door? I cant understand what logic Toyota thinks it has to shut off. I've had Jeeps and fords with PB start & they stay running

New to the forum... but can you give me some hint or maybe a video that you used to find the DCM wire you spliced? Trying to install my kit right now on my 2020 TRD ORP.
