Hey guys if you want the blocks make sure you get them from Kyle at treatyoak offroad. Let him know I sent you guys.

I’m going to do the other version which is not blocks this summer when I go for long travel. The blocks are the best option for 98% of the guys out there.

What I’m gonna attempt to do is stuff a 12” stoke 3.5 king shock out back and make it work with the kdss.

For now I linked up with total chaos ( they are 2 mins away from me) and I now have the first set of LT 2”+ over arms but for kdss. Just waiting on the king shocks which will b ready in about 3 weeks. I’m going with a 2.5 “ coilover and a 3.0 3 bypass secondary shock.

Treaty Offroad sells their KDSS spacers along with the EIMKEITH Panhard correction package. Does that combination cover the same territory as a Sonoran High Articulation PanHard Bar, or is there an added benefit to adding the Sonoran to the spacer+correction setup?

I was just talking to someone about that today. There seems to be conflicting information floating around. Some say yes some say no. Some say you have to run them both in order to take full benefit. I have heard 4 different things now and not sure what or who to believe anymore.
I’m starting with spacers and then may add the Emkeith Panhard correction later. I’m doing King 2.5 EXT travel kit.
From the what I’ve seen so far mostly guys running 3+ or even 4+ Inches of lift are the ones using it.
Would love to get some clear answers as well.

i'm running kings and 2" rear springs and have zero issues with a 100% stock setup. this includes absolutely thrashing down in baja this past week. So yea i think the issue is the extended rear shocks with a 2.5" rear spring and the front cranked way high, which makes no sense cause youre just loosing down travel by doing that

This is a good question. It seems to me there's four problems being addressed by these products: KDSS lean, the KDSS piston bracket hitting the trac bar, the KDSS piston inverting when lifted in excess of 3" (I'm not 100% sure this is a thing or not but I have seen it mentioned by reputable folks), and re-centering the axle after lifting.

The Sonoran Steel Trac Bar solves the trac bar contact and the re centering issues. (IIRC Steve at Sonoran Steel doesn't think the piston inverting is a potential issue.)

The Treaty Oaks KDSS spacer partnered with the EIMKEITH PCK would resolve all four issues with the added benefit of leveling the trac bar.

Adding it all together I'm not sure honestly. I don't know if anyone has put them all together yet.

I can comment on my specific setup where I have some of both solutions. I run the Sonoran Steel trac bar along with their extended travel Radflo shocks (I also run the Sonoran Steel bump stops as opposed to extended bumps to retain full potential up travel) and the Treaty Oaks KDSS spacer. (Rear only) I'm lifted just over 3" in the rear and this works well for me. I have the full range of suspension travel that the stock setup will allow with no contact or KDSS piston inverting. I have never had much issue with KDSS lean so that's not been an issue for me that couldn't be resolved by adjusting the coilovers

As I look at the information I don't see where it would be problematic (other than cost) to run all of the products together but I'm no expert. It seems like if you push the KDSS sway bar down with the spacer and raise the trac bar up with the PCK the potential for contact is minimized/eliminated and therefore the Sonoran Steel trac bar is unnecessary?

As I look at everything again I think I might move towards this variation of the available solutions:
Sonoran Steel Radflo shocks and bump stops partnered with the EIMKEITH PCK and Treaty Oaks KDSS Spacer (Rear Only).

I've probably misspoken or overlooked something here I'm happy to hear others thoughts or corrections.

Note: Interestingly as I look at the Treaty Oaks web page they make no claims of resolving the contact with the trac bar. When the KDSS spacer was initially developed by Dom42 (Sorry I can't remember what that company was called but it's now Treaty Oaks)
that was the specific intent of the spacer.
You can see that here:

Has anyone tried this kit out? The double adjustable panhard bar looks promising with the bends in it. http://https://ironman4x4america.com/kdss-compatible-adjustable-rear-panhard-bar-kit-suits-lexus-gx470-gx460-and-2010-toyota-4runner/

I had a local shop install the Treaty Oak "GX460/5th Gen 4Runner EIMKEITH PCK Package" today. I only have 40-50 miles on it, but it drives much nicer. After adding a dual swing out rear bumper, I added the heaviest Eibach Load-Leveling springs, and now this....feels great on pavement/not offroad with it yet.

Notable weight/mods:
BFG K02 285/70/17
SSO slimline front bumper/winch
Dual batts
Coastal Offroad dual swing out rear bumper
Toytec Lift, SPC UCA (older gen kit)
Full RCI skids/sliders (aluminum where offered)
Front Runner full rack

Best,
Michael
