I gave you a couple warnings in here and as replies to your childish pm's. You wouldn't let it go so enjoy your "time out".

Sorry OP, most members don't act this way.

Nice truck and a good size. It fits in my driveway. Its not a bus like some of the others I've considered. It is a truck. It's not uncomfortable, however, it is a truck.
Taking one to the Shore for a day, say, Bradley beach would be ok. Cape May might be a stretch.

The acceleration was adequate. The engine has more of a mechanical sound than I'm used to but thats not a bad thing. Otherwise it was nice and quiet.

I like what I saw on the navigation screen. The sunroof is big. That I appreciate.
The carpeting, from what I could tell, didn't look or feel cheap.

I measured the cargo area with the seats folded down and there was plenty of room to meet the needs of my business.

Im 6'2" 230 and there was plenty of room for my head. I was able to adjust the steering wheel and seat to a comfortable position without feeling like I was sitting on the floor. I like that it has a tall wind shield and the vehicle sits high.

Sounds like a nice ride. Hope it works out for you.

You may not find an LC right away for the price you want to pay. It takes a patience to find a deal and you may have to travel to pick one up as only 3000 of them are sold in US every year and everyone hunts for them. If you go to the LC forum you can make some good connections there and find one which will be for sale before it is for sale. There is a big cult around then and people hold on to them for a long time. Definitely you can find 16LC for low 50's as I have just traded in one for 2020. I had multiple instant offers on the forum to buy mine but because of tax savings, convenience I have traded in mine. BTW my never hit the dealer lot as someone working at the dealership bought it right away. If you don't mind an ugly face of LX definitely easier to find deals on those as at least 3x of those are sold vs. LC. Even though those are more expensive when new, they are at roughly at the same price at 3-4 years old. Definitely recommend joining LC forum and definitely don't test drive one unless you ready to buy one. There is no turning back ;)
I'm actually not that new here, on the Lexus forum or iH8mud and know the differences.

A new Limited (MSRP ~$50k) can be negotiated to $43/44k
A new GX (aka Prado aka "baby LC") has an MSRP of $57k and can be had for about $50/51k. The base GX plus nav and heated seats (in the MSRP above) has roughly the same features as a 2020 Limited.

A new LC (MSRP $83k) can be negotiated to $77k. The LX can be negotiated to about $82k.

A 2016 LC is about $53/59k. The 2016 LX is a couple of grand cheaper, but still over $50k. You need to go to 2013/2014 to get to the negotiated price of a new Limited.

Now to get back on topic. I don't see anything wrong with the OPs post. I actually like to read new reader/owner/driver impressions when they drive a car I'm contemplating. It often points out things I might not have noticed during a test drive and tells me if I'm crazy or not when I notice the same thing.

No intention of buying this one. Just took it for a ride.
My wife asked me to post this. She's short, and really misses the height of our 3rd Gen (she's driving a Rav4 now). So she thinks that your wife will really appreciate the height and the feeling of security of a new 4Runner, even if she's not a truck person. This is her two cents.

The offer from dealer was so strong that with tax difference I would be at par. Simply moving from 16 with lower than average millage and perfect condition --> 20 costed me less than 20K. Those deals don't sit at dealer lots for long (especially when most of the time they have one unit) so you need to move quickly. BTW Someone at the dealer really wanted my truck and I am sure I made someone's day there. BTW not every dealer is POS. This one provided such great service and experience (smaller town dealer) that two months later traded my wife 18 SR5 4x4 for 20 OR. Costed me 9K for that trade. In both cases if you do research you will see that those were both some sweet deals. If someone lives in NC or near by and need the hook up just let me know and will connect you with my guy at the dealer.

Completely agree. My wife is on the shorter side too and previously was driving 435i and GS350. She was hesitant at first but now there is no way she will move back to one of those even though they were way nicer in every aspect but hight.

My wife said "Thank You"
She is about 5' tall.

After we bought her TLX w/SHAWD and we had a bad snow storm here last year she said "Im never going to have another car without 4 wheel drive"

Drove an SR5 Premium Last Week

I drove an SR5 Premium this week and I think I like it better than the Limited. I thought the ride was more comfortable. The emergency braking nose-dive people post about here didn't seem to be excessive. The sound system was good. I like the new Nav. screen. It doesn't have a mind bending over abundance of power and when you are in it its let you know that you are.

The sales guy said it had Lane Departure Steering Assist and showed me where I could change the sensitivity. I didn't have a chance to try it and I dont see it on the features list. wtf?

I was able to get good pricing and figure out what the dealer incentive values were so I can bargain with that.

The Costco pricing was about 4.9% off in NJ and 4.6% NY.
You can do better negotiating. There appears to be a lot of room in the pricing. I have been starting at "10% off MSRP" and they are still calling me back.

The residual seems pretty high for these vehicles. Im not an expert on this but for a $42,678 msrp SR5 Premium

12k miles 24 mo $30,728
12k miles 60 mo $19,632

Free Food

It was completely cloudy, 40° and it had just stopped raining Saturday. The weather I hate the most.

I went up to the NJ/NY border to see a dealership and they had a BBQ going on the patio. I left the house without eating and this was welcome. I didnt have to cook either. Cheese burgers. Nice new dealership. Non-douche bag sales kid. Probably going back to these guys.

Bonus Info:

New York Documentation Fee is capped at $74.

In New Jersey it's normally $489 'Eff that
