In the seating position, My head basically hits the sunroof.

I need to get my posts up to be able to ask about seat mods to LOWER the level as the seat bottomed out is not low enough.
I'm 6-4 and there's more than enough headroom for me in a 2011 Trail with sunroof. I recline the seat, perhaps more than most ... but still, for you to hit your head on the sunroof surprises me.

I'll go back when it is not raining and try again.
I'd feel bad if I were to cause someone some extra work cleaning.
Any way to LOWER the front driver seat?

I am in no rush to buy in a way as I would honestly rather invest the money.

It's a simple cover with an anti slip back. It seems like it would be durable since the top material seems to be substantial. You have to lift or lower both seats at the same time when it is strapped to the head rests and therefore I wont use it that way.

These Bulldogology covers are supposed to stop liquids from getting onto the interior. They do not. I carried 12 mulch bags, each 3 cubic feet, and they leaked some water. It went through the Bulldogology liner. I had to take out the liner the next morning and leave it and the truck in the sun.

You have come to the right place Richinridgewood will enlighten you!

But due to his bias and long winded responses I will sum his reply up. “The 4Runner does exactly what it should. The aviator while overpriced and designed differently then the 4Runner is superior to the 4Runner in EVERYWAY. Oh and it has a windshield!”
If I missed anything let me know!

in all seriousness, have you considered the ford expedition? I think that is a nice vehicle. I rented one for two weeks when I was in the states. it had the ecoboost which was surprisingly quick. reliability seems hit or miss though with them and I'm not a huge fan of the exterior styling

I would say the expedition is more comparable to the 4runner. I know technically they are in different classes. I've driven in explorers and expeditions and the expedition to me reminds me the most of the 4runner, probably because it's truck like handling and body on frame

Explorer is an overweight car. They are reliable, interior is engineered well, and generally they are no-fuss autos, but bad roads will beat them to death like any other car.

I disagree. Cars today dont have 5400 lbs towing capacity and 6000+ lbs gvwr.

I bet the Expedition fuel economy is worse than the 4R. I don’t really want a truck that big.

You should’ve stopped at, I don’t want a truck. You hate the vehicle that you bought. I’m not sure why you even purchased it to begin with.
