Do I need a second battery?

I plan on installing a 32" LED light bar behind my grill. Will I need a 2 battery setup or will 1 battery work?

Unless you plan on it always being on, one battery will be just fine...and by always I mean even when your tuck is turned off.

From everything I have read and reviewed, a second battery will come in handy if you are running crazy amount of high voltage equipment. IE winch + million lights + high preforming system.

Otherwise, get a good solid deep cycle battery and will you be golden.

Do you need dual? No. Not for that.

Do you want dual? Cause if that's the case, anything want can be a need. And sometimes, it ain't about the need...

The only real reason to get a second battery is to power equipment while the engine is off. So no you don’t need it.

It's all 12V (nominal) voltage

If you meant high amperage then a second battery is just a band aid to fill short periods of time when you are drawing more than your charging ability (for example, very long hard winch pulls). If your lighting or other accessories exceed your alternator, you need an upgraded alternator not a battery.
