Icon s3 on a 2019 quick review

I just had an Icon stage 3 setup and Wildpeak AT 285/70/17s put onto my 2019 4runner and wanted to drop a few notes. Picture is before we adjusted the ride heights.

The good
1. The ride difference is amazing. Why the t4r doesn't ride like this out of the factory I can't explain, but it feels smoother, stiffer, no nose dive anymore and just overall more planted to the ground.
2. It aligned really well and installed fast. The installer (mostly a jeep shop) said that it aligned perfectly and quickly and they had no issues at all with the kit.
3. I did install firestone helper bags in the rear springs to help out with the bumper and when I'm loaded down. They fit perfectly and the air hookups tuck right into the trailer lighting bracket.
4. My first drive of the wildpeaks was during a snow and ice storm. They are pretty amazing and didn't seem to care at all that the pavement was a mess.
5. These tires are silent. I'm coming from nitto terra grapplers that aren't exactly loud, but these are even quieter.
6. I have full skids, replaced the bumpers, winch, tire carrier etc and the icon handles the load like it's running at stock weight.

The less good but not sure I would call it bad.
1. The front tire rubs on the drivers side mudflap. Looking at my truck though for some reason that side flap is bowed out. I'm just gonna heat gun it and bend it back a bit.
2. The sway bar drop kit interferes with the Victory 4x4 front skid plate mounts. The shop was able to move some brackets around though and mount it back up without much drama.

As the springs have started to settle, the Body Mount Chop is becoming necessary unfortunately. Typical pattern of full lock in reverse or when going over a significant bump on the drivers side. Back to the shop it goes!

I guess this goes to show that all trucks..and tires are different. I had a 2" spacer lift on my Pro with 285's and no rubbing at all. I removed the mud flaps but no issues at all with the body mount.

Now once i added 17x9 -38 wheels with 295's... thats a whole new story. lol

I'm honestly thinking about swapping to 295s if I have to BMC. Im still well within the return on these tires with my shop . Do you like that size? Did you need to regear?

No regear, truck still feels fine. But even with a 3" lift and tons of cutting and BMC they still rub pretty bad. Mostly due to the offset on my wheels, but overall I love it

Curious why you went with the rear cool helper bags.. do you tow or have heavy cargo? What rear coil on it now?

Does it still ride well with the helper bags inflated?

I have my eye on a small trailer and the labor was free to install them while the new springs were going in. The entire firestone bag kit was only $100. The current rear springs are the regular icon springs from a stage 3, which has me currently level with the front, but I think I may swap them out of the overland springs to pull the rear up a bit.
