ICS FAB Beefy Dash Mount for 4Runner

Stumbled across this today on Youtube. It's a little big for my tastes, but it looks very sturdy.

I might get this. Doesn't block the clock or those who has the accessory meter display in place of the clock. Look like it will work with ram mounts too.

Looks like a clunkier version of the one I made for about $20!

Can you give me some details on this accessory meter? Did you retrofit it in place of the clock?

Yeah you gotta buy a used or new Acessorary Meter Display and "try" to get the custom harness from user : Old Red. Btw it only works on Trail/Off Road and TRD Pro models.

Well...I just ordered it as well as the usb charging mount.

I like that the clock is still visible with this mount and that it appears to have a bit of a shelf to hold a cb radio to. ( which is my intent )

Will report back when I receive it as well as once I get it installed!

Fascinating...

It definitely looks like a more versatile solution than anything I've seen so far. A nice flat shelf, and lots of room to mount an assortment of electronics. However, I'm a fan of options, so I'm admittedly biased.

Anyway, I understand that a ton of potential buyers will shy away from drilling holes into their dash. Yet, if you want to get your feet wet into vehicle mods... easily-replaceable plastic parts are a good place to start. Better than drilling garbage holes into your drip rails to install a roof rack.

I can't say whether it's well-made or not, since I haven't held it in my hands, but I look forward to @macscac update for more information.

Definitely a good point about easily replaceable plastic being a good place to mod. There are worse ways to screw up drilled holes for sure

I installed mine today and I have to say it’s a very well made product that is quite beefy. I gotta get some more screws for my ram mounts before I get anything mounted to it, but I’ll let you all know how it fairs with some load on it. Highly recommended so far.

ICS FAB Beefy Dash Mount for 4Runner

Got mine today and installed it.

This is a well designed bracket.
It’s solid and well made. Easy to install and does not cover my clock
(which was important to me)

I need to figure out a new bracket for my CB as the stock bracket makes it sit too high
So for now, just pics with a ram mount for my phone and the USB charging dock

Lots of pics!!

I have the expedition essentials. It’s super solid, but a bit more. I’d have considered this on either I had seen.
