I've posted my experience in a couple places and here's a link to it. My damage was in the A pillar and had to be cut out and replaced. I don't plan on selling at any point and if I do I got paid out an appropriate amount on the diminished value.

The OP in this thread ended up having to escalate to the insurance regulator but still got comped.
