Maybe an adjustable light bar inside the rear hatch?

I have a set of baja S2's in my bumper. Easily screwed in with no issue. Then ran the wiring harnesses they came with straight to my sPod. You more than likely don't have one, but with the harness you should be able to just run it straight to the battery and the switch into the cabin.

Honestly I used to be scared of wiring, but there are so many ways to get around soldering and stuff now that you shouldn't be. For instance you can use these and it's a solder/shrink combo: Amazon.com: Kuject 120PCS Solder Seal Wire Connectors, Self-Solder Heat Shrink Butt Connector Waterproof Insulated Electrical Butt Splice Wire Terminals for Marine Automotive Aircraft Boat Truck Stereo Wire Joint: Automotive

The 7-pin can work with a switch mounted somewhere else?

Provided your trailer is using the 4pin connector?? That would leave a couple options.
Tap the ground for the (-) wire, then put a weather tight switch on the trailer itself for the (12vt charging) wire. turn lights on/off at the trailer?
Not always wise but I've done it to test trailer reverse. Put the em brake on and put runner in reverse, tap the backup light center pin for the (+) wire

He could also do the Diode Dynamic tail-as-turn and get the additional backup light. I haven't seem them in person, but people seem to love the backup light since it adds so much light.

2 wires. Battery, DPDT switch, reverse lights. Can't use a skull lamp or a flashlight when backing my 700lb 60" zero turn into the trailer. Why are you backing it in you ask? Because the weight is biased on the rear tires and so it tows better when backed onto the trailer. Tried to post this earlier but the forum blew up and it didn't save.

Uhhh... I知 not so sure about this.
Have you wired this up yet?
Did sparks fly?

If this is a standard DPDT switch you値l be connecting +12v to ground.

It also doesn’t make sense to use a DPDT if your just going to connect both poles together?? And the bat jumper does nothing at all.

I'm not even sure what's going on anymore...
I guess we lost some posts after the forum was reset. Anyway, I thought we'd agreed that the OP was going to train a capuchin monkey to live the glovebox, and pop out with a flashlight when needed.

Unhelpful. Thanks for commenting. Maybe there are other threads you can contribute to.

I have not wired this. I'm just trying to block the signal from the transmission when I need the reverse lights on. If I hop in, put it in drive and don't turn the new switch off, I could momentarily send 24V to the lights and I'm not sure they would appreciate it. That was a screenshot from Amazon for someone selling a DPDT switch. I would need help to know what the actual terminals needed would be so I don't backfeed the transmission computer.

So you've gone from "what lights do I use?" to "how do I wire this up?"

Since you haven't said what you want to wire up so we thought we missed some posts when the forum went down.

What lights are you using? Thereafter, we can tell you how we think it is best to hook this up.
