If this is a standard DPDT switch you’ll be connecting +12v to ground.

I have not wired this. I'm just trying to block the signal from the transmission when I need the reverse lights on. If I hop in, put it in drive and don't turn the new switch off, I could momentarily send 24V to the lights and I'm not sure they would appreciate it. That was a screenshot from Amazon for someone selling a DPDT switch. I would need help to know what the actual terminals needed would be so I don't backfeed the transmission computer.
