DDM Tuning Saber LED for DRL / High
So I got a chance to try these out, and just installed them... First impressions are amazing....
http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/9005-LED-36W-PR-W
I was concerned these wouldn't operate correctly in a two function setting, low draw DRL and high draw High Beam. After allot of communication back and forth with DDM they assured me they would function correctly and not be one setting "high beam" all the time...
I'm very happy to say, they work great!
Now mind you they are deff brighter then stock DRL's but that's ok with me as they wont seem get lost in a world of halogen DRL's anymore.
And the high beam... Good grief man! Night shots soon to follow but very nice, crisp and instant on.
These are plug and play, a tad bit of wiggle in the install that I will address this weekend. Still not sure how or why it only allows me one pic per post, so excuse my multiple posts to follow.

personally I disabled the DRL by doing the pin #2 mod in the headlight relay .

If aimed correctly you should have no issues...
The high beam is much brighter then the DRL function.
I'd venture to say the DRL isn't any brighter then many LED / DRL's out there like the Panamera for instance.
Also difficult to convey actual "brightness " in a picture vs. what you eyes process..
Quick install shot.

I have to be honest, I'm not a pro with my DSLR.... I went out the other night and the high beam function... With only 2 LED's per bulb out ran my light bar....
I need to figure out how to really show that in a night shot, because what my eyes see and what is captured by the camera look totally different.
Tonight I will drive out to a dark road with some distance to take some good shot.
Stay tuned.

While waiting for night shots here are some day shots on the garage.
First shot is full daylight DRL, you'll notice them on the second panel up from the bottom.
Second shot, High Beam. Again from the second panel up, full daylight, they are a bright system. And a very clean light, makes my 6K HID's in the projectors look dirty in comparison.

Yes, I would say even if you don't run DRL's these are an amazing upgrade to your high beams.
I hope to get some night shots this weekend.

@ Trail-AMMO
,
From what I can see in your photos they look a lot brighter than some I have tried previously. They look white!
Just how much wiggle is there and have you worked out a solution, because if there is wiggle, it could throw your beam projection off while driving.
Are the O Rings tight in the opening?
EDIT: I just spoke with Carlos @ the DDM Lighting Huntington Beach - Retail Store, I asked the same questions to him that I presented here. There are various size O Rings to take care of the wobble fitment issue.

Correct they come with orange O rings installed, about the same size as what's on the factory bulbs.
However I changed them over to the larger diameter black rings they come with. I had to loosen the retainer ring on the back side of the head light housing, twist the bulb in, and then tighten the rings back down once the led was installed.
This eliminated the "wobble"
