New rims!

I finally got my new rims yesterday after hunting them for 4 months.

Nothing new or exclusive, but I'm excited about my purchase.

I will post an update picture once they are on the 4runner!

Kinda curious as to what trimming/modifications will have to get done.

Wheel Specs: 17x8.5 -10mm

Nice choice, I think these are the lightest SCS wheels. I assume you will be putting 285/70R17 on them. Trimming really depends on the vehicle. I had to do a fender liner mod and slight cutting on the front bumper (easy stuff to do) and had to take off the mud flaps but no body mount chop needed.

Those look phenomenal. You'll have to share a pic of them on the car once they're installed!

I am hoping for no BMC. Yes I currently have 285 KO2's on my OEM wheels.

I think KO2's run kinda small (at least to my human eye) compared to other brands. I'm hoping for no major issues with the fitment. I also believe these are lighter than my OEM wheels so I'm curies to see if they will make any difference on my MPG

Love those wheels. I have 285’s and they didn’t require any trimming. They’re KO 2’s.

Well things did not go as planned and I could not get the wheels installed today. I will have to wait until next weekend.

Keep you posted

I had your exact wheel/tire setup on my Super White T4R. Did the BMC, took off front mud flaps, and heated/formed the front fender liner. Always had a bit of rub on the liner while going reverse at full lock. Fixed all that with the high clearance bumper cut.

I’d post photos but don’t want to steal your thunder.

Nice Wheels!

I have the SCS Ray 10's with the 8.5 offset, Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT's in 285/70. I also have a and Ironman Foam Cell suspension lift which works out to be about 3" in the front.

I've done the fender liner mod and removed the front mud flap. I get some rubbing in full reverse turning the wheel to the right. It's not horrible but I'll probably need to do a body mount chop sometime in the near future.

Well, here it is. Love the look! Rubbing a bit on the front bumper while reversing and turning all the way.

I will take care of that tomorrow or the following day. These wheels feel very light compared to the OEM TRDOffroad. I’m wondering if I’ll see an MPG improvement.
