2020 Nightshade Mods?

I bought a 2020 Nightshade a few months ago. So far I've had the paint ceramic coated and the bottom side undercoated by Ziebart. Since it's winter here I've also added a rear bumper guard.

Obviously I didn't buy the vehicle to off road in. I would expect that the majority or nightshade owners would limit their off road use to mall parking lots.

What I'm curious to learn is what modifications have you done to your mall crawlers?

Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion, I've looked there. The limited thread is still about lifting and off road stuff just for the folks that have limited edition's.
I'm looking for nightshade specific mods. here are some examples:

>Interior sound proofing.
>Locked storage for a hand gun
>Long rifle storage
>K9 barriers for the rear
>How dark did you go with the tinted windows

Stuff like that.

Most folks hit the jungle... I hit the urban jungle.

Here are my 2020 Nightshade Mods.

- Tinted the windows dark.
- Got the netting for the back cargo area.
- Perfect fitting sunshade (heatsheild)
- Center Console tray + organizer
- Glove Compartment Organizer

Want to do.
- Thinking about removing the step rails. I kinda hate how low it makes it look.

If you are going to keep the stock wheels, add spacers to move them outboard a bit.

I'm looking for nightshade specific mods. here are some examples:

>Interior sound proofing.
Can't help you there.
>Locked storage for a hand gun
Look up Lock'er Down console vault
>Long rifle storage
Several on the market but cost a pretty penny. Lock'er down also makes rifle safes.
>K9 barriers for the rear
Look up Raingler nets
>How dark did you go with the tinted windows
Personal preference

Stuff like that.

I tried to answer what I could. Hopefully this will help.

I am with you on the 4Runner build. I myself am a mall parking lot guy! So far I have done the following:

-Ceramic Tint (highly recommend the Platinum Series Llumar 30% tint)
**I did everything but the front windshield** I traveled cross country with my dog and driving through Texas in 105 degree heat, my AC was on 72 and the lowest fan setting because I was too cold. The tint really keeps the heat down from the sun. I highly, highly recommend doing the sunroof as well. All in it cost me about $650 or so. Best investment I have made yet!

- Travall rear dog kennel Toyota 4Runner (2013-Current)
**Made to fit the car and looks great. I fit a GSP and a Lab back there with no issues and they love it. I really like it as well because it keeps good distance from my leather.

WANTS:
-I'm looking for a nice aggressive tire to go on the 4Runner. The only thing I dislike is the highway tires. It's a mean looking vehicle, but it needs a better stance.

-LED lights. I want to find a nice foglight to replace the stock ones. I'm with you and want to keep the sleek look of the truck, but have nice upgrades for the vehicle.

None of what you listed is really specific to nightshade. All of those things you have listed I have seen here at one time or another and some in-depth. Search is your friend.

There are a ton of user threads of folks simply adding deadening to their front doors all the way to completely removing the interior.
