This is where I mounted mine. Used the bracket / clip that came with it and 2 short screws. I did a quick double check underneath to make sure I wasn't going to hit any wires and 5 minutes later was done.

Flat plate mounted at front seat mount. Another long plate welded perpendicular to mounting plate. Then the supplied bracket with the Element secured to to the long plate.
