Leveling front of 2017 Limited
I'm fairly new to posting and hoping that you guys can give me advice. I took my 2017 Limited to get new tires and asked the shop to "level" it. My goal is to raise the front to be level with the stock back end. When I picked up my 4Runner, the front now looks higher than the back. The ticket says they added a 2.5" leveling kit. They told me that it will "settle in" and the front will drop down some after about 100 miles of driving. Is this true?
It just seems that 2.5" may have been overkill for what I want to achieve. They told me that if I drive it and decide I don't like it, they will take care of it. What size do I need to achieve "level" and remove the nose dive?
Thanks for your help!

I did a 1" front spacer lift, and it still has about an inch of forward rake (rear taller). 2" would probably end up being level, 2.5" sounds like it's going to have reverse rake (front taller) even after things settle.

1” will make it level. I have a 2.5” front and 1.5 rear and its perfectly leveled. Most people on this forum will agree 1” is about perfect.
You need to take it back to the shop, 2.5” is way too high without a rear lift.
Curious though, Got any pics ??

Leveling front of 2017 Limited
I did a Cornfed 1” spacer (spacer is really 1/2” but trigonometry makes it 1” of lift). Not quite level but exactly what I wanted (slight rake).
You can always just toss in a Cornfed spacer (.5, .75, 1, 1.5) on the rear to level it back out. They are cheap and just slide on top of the rear coil.

If you are interested in Cornfed spacers, let me know. I am a Cornfed dealer.

Took a few pics. Wasn’t on completely level ground. Feels like it slopes to the rear a lot more than it looks. I measured from ground to crown of wheel well, and the front is 1” taller than back at same measuring point.

I would put some 1" spacers on the rear and call it good.

Yea take it back and tell them to either do a 1.5 rear spacer or to take the front down an inch.
Here is mine..

Just put a spacer on the rear coil. Much easier than dealing with the front again. A 1 inch space on the rear will look good. Did you use a spacer lift in the front?
