Can the Limited do donuts?
You can in the SR5.
1) Be stopped.
2) Press & release the traction control button. (Traction control off)
3) Press and hold the traction control button. (Traction and stability control off)
I know the Limited is full time 4WD. But can you turn off all the "nannies" and do 4WD donuts?
Thanks!

It's easy. Cock the wheel to the left, give her some revs, pop the clutch and... oh wait.
OK, cock the wheel to the left, put it in 2WD and... no no hang on.
Lemme think...
Do you happen to live near a frozen lake?

try it but first get a running start, make sure you transition from dirt to dry pavement, have your boyfriend film you. post said rollover to this thread so we can point and laugh.

I’ve been able to get it to spin in a snowy field but it’s definitely not the same as rwd would do. I still had fun. I did turn off the nannies.

In all seriousness I've been able to get my Tacoma to rotate on its axis with all the safety off. Not sure I'd want to do the same in the Runner because it's more top heavy. Maybe on a super slick surface but be careful.

I meant "in a slick, snowy parking lot", but i did not say that. And my real question is- Can you turn off all the nannies that would allow you to do donuts? There are usually 2 levels of traction control. Some cars will let you turn traction control off (spin wheels in a straight line), but won't let you turn stability control off (to get sideways or do donuts). I believe the jeep wrangler will NOT let you do donuts (in a snowy parking lot).
I just appreciate the option to turn everything off, so i can get a little sideways in a slick empty parking lot.

Did it!
I'm super happy. I love the Limited! It's very luxurious, kinda like a 7/8 scale Land Cruiser. The SR5 was almost paid off, but yolo.
Thanks for the replies and humor!
