I did really like the SSO sliders I had on my '16 though.

Does the top of the bumper have holes for the bullbar? Or is it completely closed off?

Asking, because I'd like the option of putting it together without the bullbar, and wouldn't want precut holes on top.

I'm all in for the guy who thinks that a $299 kit + $120 Harbor Freight flux welder will add up to big savings.

I have the $120 HF flux welder that I'm learning with...
BUT, my neighbor is a retired welder and is bored. He has several very nice welders.

Does this come with any instructions, or a drawing of any kind with dimensions?

Or is it a "tack it in place and see how it fits" as you go type job?

Basically, tack together all the major mounting points while theyre installed on the car so everything fits correctly, then remove and weld the rest on. You get a template for cutting the bumper, but thats it. It looks pretty straightforward

There are no holes on the top- The bull bar is surface welded not welded through like the shackle mounts

The bull bar looks pretty high up, it’s higher than the slimline bumper correct? How tough would it be to cut that down?
