Once it fails it stays closed. Reseting won't make it go away permanently. If it cleared now - it'll be back.

I think I'll probably just order a new valve and replace it. I'm guessing that will resolve my problems and, if it doesn't, then I likely have bigger problems.

That's all it is, Tyler. If you OBD2 code "valve stuck closed" then replacing it is the fix. Make sure to replace one on the correct bank. Scanner fault code tells you Bank1 or Bank2. I've done mine eons ago as you see from original post and have no issues since. G.L.

My scanner showed that bank 2 was stuck closed. I found the OEM valve on eBay for $180 shipped so I think I'll pull the trigger. I did already order 2 air tube gaskets but I'm waiting for shipping confirmation. I appreciate the input and hope that the replacement install goes smooth!

I did the same, split the case in half to inspect. That’s when I found the valve plate broken at its mounting screws. They do not sell the internal parts separately, just the entire valve.

I first ordered a used valve from a salvager off eBay. Then went and bought a new one from a Toyota dealer for $300+, which is the one I installed (driver’s side). I’d be will to sell the used driver’s side valve for $100.

I'll likely just order the new one just to have a little more peace of mind. I do appreciate the offer, though!
