Optimum No Rinse.
3-5 costco gold microfibers and 1 clean ONR/distilled water bucket.
1-2 plush microfibers for drying.

Fold the ONR towel into quarters. Turn to a clean side frequently.
Set aside the dirty towels as you use them.

Pre-rinse with spotless at the quarter car wash if needed.

Wish I had found the microfiber and no-rinse technique sooner.

Pressure washer 25-deg nozzle - rinse truck.
Use a 10:1 citrus all purpose cleaner from CG on tires and wheels, scrub with wheel brush.
Rinse each wheel/tire + spare.
Foam cannon with 3-4 oz of honeydew snowfoam.
Use two wash mits one for the top of the truck, one for the bottom half of the truck.
Rinse with power washer.
While I'm at it power wash out the mits on the sliders.
Use air hose or leaf blower to get some of the remaining water off.
For sealant/drying aid, I use P&S Bead Maker and 4-5 costco microfiber towels with the tags ripped off.
Usually start with the hood-roof-front-diver-rear-passenger.
Spray on panel, wipe off with one mf towel, then use a clean mf to level it off or "polish" if needed.
For tires, I use this as a tire dressing as it leaves the tire looking new without the "wet" shiny bro-look. Spray on tires, let sit while I dry the truck and wipe clean with a damp throw-away towel.
Interior I use 303. I use the same thing to refresh exterior plastics when they look tired.

I debate paint correction all the time, but its an off-road truck, so its not worth the effort most of the time.

I'll give a bottle of this swag a hot.

I have been looking for a good matte rubber protectant ever since the Einszett/1Z factory burned to the ground. I have one bottle left of there old formula Vinyl-Rubber protectant. Man, Utah sun trashes plastics/trim/rubber.

I use chemical guys brand from amazon. Works well, inexpensive, and readily available. Their wax sealant is really easy to use too...on trucks, gas grills, stainless appliances, shower doors...

anyone ever use Aero Cosmetics wash wax all?

I like the idea of after washing the vehicle, while wet, spray the stuff on and dry it.

If the rain doesn't get it clean and the hose doesn't get clean and the heavy dew we have 13 out of 14 days doesn't get it clean, then a couple of times a year I break out the long handled brush, 5-gal bucket and the Turtle Wax Ice Wash & Wax.

It's just going to get dirty again tomorrow. Or probably tonight.

I've never sold or traded a vehicle and been left with the feeling, "I wish I'd spent more time cleaning it." How many hundreds of hours have I saved since I began driving in the '60s?

Turtle Wax Ice.

This is a big step up from the 1986 Subaru GL wagon I used on the Outer Banks beaches for 14 years. That thing would go anywhere in the sand on 185/70-13 tires. Dual range 5 speed, factory skid plate, 3 position manually adjustable rear shocks and armored exhaust. All factory, including the white spoke wheels. The front sub frame finally rusted apart.

Meguiars gold soap. Used it for last 18 years. Does not strip wax.

Never heard of it, I'm sure it's the same 'drying aid' as the other 100+ similar products from various companies.

"Drying" aids, aka, spray waxes are not new and every detailing company has their own version. 90% the same product, just varying colors/smells minute chemical composition.

What you may want to consider are the new breed of "spray and rinse" to apply products. Makes drying easier than normal because 80% of the water will sheet right off with an open hose compared to the older drying aids that promote beading but are less effective at 'evacuating' water on panels without compressed air.

Optimum No Rinse -I was skeptical about no rinse washes until I used it.

Duragloss 901 Car Wash - I use this when the car is too dirty for a rinseless wash.

Optimum Car Wax spray - Very easy to use. Brilliant shine and beads for 2 -3 months.

Nanoskin Clay Towel - Much faster than a traditional clay bar.

I'm curious to try Turtle Wax Seal and Shine because I heard it is very durable.

Using these products I have no swirls at all on the paint and it's never been polished.

I use it occasionally after washing as a drying aid and light wax. It is a fine product as a drying aid, I like it better than the instant detailers I've used.

It's easy to use too much.

I don't expect the wax qualities to last more than a week in the elements.
If you are looking for a 3-6 month wax, collinite 845.

I'm a huge fan of using dish soap and steel wool. Who's with me?

Another vote for Adams Polishes here, been using them across a few cars now and have always been pleased with most of the lineup.

Although I cheated and had it professionally done last time... finding the time to do much beyond a solid two bucket wash has been nearly impossible now that I have a little one.

Another vote for optimum no rinse when I really want to detail it out. Not yet mentioned, and not really a CLEANING product but Aerospace 303 is amazing stuff for all the plastic, vinyl, rubber bits. From tires to engine bays, it's awesome.

My '15, with 95k miles, and off-roaded a lot has an engine bay that looks better than factory fresh.
