For plastics i use Maguires Hot Shine. Its an aerosol. So much easier than wiping on and off. It gets in all the corners of grills, screw caps, under the hood, etc. For tires I use a bristle hand brush with water, then spray them down. Wipe off excess. Not too much of a wet look.

We use it on ATVs also. Makes them look new.

The Hot Shine is good. Probably the best glossy stuff. Maguire’s also makes no gloss cleaners. All of their products are the best if you ask me.

I start out with slightly damp microfiber towels cleaning a new car and the last few cars never even progressed to cleaning products. I wet a microfiber towel with distilled water, wring it out, then wipe the interior down. No residue on screens or dash. No streaking. Naturally clean.

My 4Runner for whatever reason gets really dirty inside when I take it off-road, even with the windows up and recirc on. Seems odd, but both times I took it out I was able to wipe it down to new again with just a damp towel everywhere. Still need to vacuum

My 11 year old truck has tons of rock chips and pits all over the front of it, but the rest of the paint looks pretty damn decent.
I try to wax twice a year.

Clay bar/nanoskin first then I use whatever I feel like at the time:
Meguiars ultimate polish, deep crystal polish/wax, ultimate wax, ceramic wax...
Mother’s wax
Collinite 845

Lately I’ve just been using Meguiars paste cleaner wax

I used the Turtle Wax Ice Seal n shine for the first time this weekend and it’s really nice.

Aerospace 303 for the external plastics and interior after wiping down with a damp towel.
Mother’s back to black seems okay
Costco microfiber towels
Rain X for the windshield.
Diluted Simple green for the engine bay.
Meguiars or chemical brothers for car wash soap.

Jescar’s Powerlock plus and then collinitie 845. Great combo. 303 for black plastic.

The Maguires car wash soap seems to work really good. I tried the wash / wax all in one recently since it was on sale, and I didn't care for it. For the interior, I found what works best is warm water in a Tupperware bowl with a couple cap fulls of Murphy's Oil. Just wipe everything down with a microfiber soaked in the mix. It leaves a nice, clean look without the greasy / shiny appearance. Plus it smells nice and not too chemically. I use it on all plastics and the softex seats. Oh yeah - and it's cheap! One bottle lasts quite some time. Windows are just two microfibers - one wet to wipe down, and another to dry.

I see someone else follows the OG methodology. I love the combo on all my cars, especially the truck. I use Beadmaker as a drying aid and it cleans up quite nicely after getting dirty.

I second this big time. The amount of performance and ease of application you get for minimal $ is crazy. Plus it is available everywhere.

What you may want to consider are the new breed of "spray and rinse" to apply products. Makes drying easier than normal because 80% of the water will sheet right off with an open hose compared to the older drying aids that promote beading but are less effective at 'evacuating' water on panels without compressed air.

Eagle One is my favorite spray wax. CHEAP and GOOD. Must mean it’s not fast...

Clay: Meguiar’s. Soft, workable clay and they give you a lot. I don’t use their clay lube I use soapy water.

Decontamination: Sonax Iron-Out and Full Effect wheel cleaner.

Soap: Chemical Guys Mr. Pink and their foam cannon. Would not recommend any other CG products.

Wax: Meguiar’s Black Wax

Bug & Tar: McKee’s 37 Road Kill Bug Scrubber and Stoner Car Care Tarminator

Glass: Once confirmed bug and sap free, I will use 99% isopropyl alcohol in a spritz bottle to clean it. I used to work in a window factory and this is hands down the REAL DEAL to clean glass. None of this ammonia free garbage.
