Any more noise comparisons to K02s? Especially someone who kept the same size and load rating from Ko2 to Toyo AT3. I see a lot of other guys on other forums (mostly 3/4 ton trucks) that say the Toyo AT3 gets noisy whirring above 60. Anyone else experience this. I'm looking at 285/70/17 C rated.

I'm running that size and load. I don't get noisy whirring or noise of any type from the tire at any speeds I've driven including above 60. I only have maybe 5k miles on them, but compared to the Duratracs I replaced (stock size load range C), the Toyo AT3s are silent. Maybe they'll get noisy with some mileage, but so far that seems unlikely.

friend just got these. not KO2's but replaced cooper discoverer at3 xlt. he said the toyo's are noticeably louder on the freeway
285/70/17 C in my GX470
I feel like I’ve got a little bit of a pull to the left now so I gotta figure that out. Seems like they are under inflated because they have quite the bulge at the pavement.

How much air are you running? I chalked tested mine and 32 psi was the magic number to ride all the way across the tire and not in the center only. I have the P285.
I've owed my 285/70 C Load AT3s for 6 months now and have put them through the paces. First of all, on road they're amazing, especially in shitty weather, they do well with slush and rain.
On snow powder, they do ok, not as good as KO2s.. but I might have a bad comparison because my 4runner with KO2s had very flat aftermarket armor that might have made it easier to slide vs stock armor I have with my current 4runner with AT3s.
Last thing, I had my AT3s on a hard trial at 15 PSI and I struggled, my friend with 33's KO2s did much better. Second time, on the same trial, I had my AT3s at 20PSI and I did much much better, and had easier time then my friend with KO2s.
Look at this water crossing, AT3s do so well at shedding water thru the sipes. They might lack the forward bite that KO2s have, but I'm not sure anymore, KO2s did amazing things on Whistling Diesel Hilux at Moab video. Would love to get some feedback on AT3s at pure rock like Moab.

I just had SL 285/70/17 AT3s put on today. No real testing except interstate. They were very quiet. A slight whine at 70 mph (had to listen for it, even the AC fan on 3/4 would drown it out…) but much quieter than my worn out SL 265/70/17 Falken AT3W which had 60k miles on them. (They were a great tire but wanted something different and if memory serves me correct the Toyos are quieter than the AT3W even when I first got them but hard to say…)
I like the look of the tire (Not to aggressive but not too simple either…) and I really liked the weight. Published weight on the tire is 47lbs and I put one on my scale and it was 46.7lbs
I’ll update here as I put more miles on them. Love the look with my lift!!

I'm soon to pull the trigger on a set of these Toyo AT3s. What is the largest tire size I can run with these? I have a 2021 4Runner Trail Special Edition.
EDIT: ITS BONE STOCK ASIDE FROM NFAB NERF BARS AND A TRD ENGINE SKID. MY STOCK TIRE SIZE IS 265/70R17

Did you BMC or just trim and push back the inner fender?

Sorry, been away for a few weeks. Lot going on…
The only thing I did was remove the mud flaps. No BMC and no fender liner moving. It doesn’t rub anywhere. I think a more aggressive tire may be closer… I used a heat gun to warp the mud flaps. I haven’t put them back on yet to see if that fixed it.
*Edit: To be clear, I have a lift and aftermarket UCAs. It would be a different story if I didn’t have that for these tires. Caster is around 3.2/3.6 if memory serves me correctly.
