As Big Daddy K said about suction cups in Arizona--that could be a problem. Rubber parts and even silicone parts exposed to the heat and UV rays in Arizona do not hold up well. Even if the cup attaches strongly, it appears the weak link is the cup material hardening and cracking with exposure. Do you have any info on longevity of this part when exposed to high heat, UV rays?

I like it, I just need to order the roof rack first. Seems like an excellent solution to additional storage. Others are concerned about the UV and heat with the suction, I'd be interested to see how it performs in subzero and winter temps in Maine we don't have to worry about it being too hot too often.

I'll echo my concern over only 1 suction cup, 2 might be better, especially for those of us who live in extreme climates: like ND or AZ. Definitely interested in this. I have your console and rear molle panels and I'm extremely happy.

Why is the gas can upside down - that doesn't look like a good idea.

It can be mounted in any orientation (vertically, horizontally, and a number of angles). We plan to run a water can with a spigot this way so it's easily accessible.

Maybe it would be worth it to extend it down to the body... then you could just have it rest on the paint with soft pads, suction etc. Might be safer than the window?

You think? With a suction cup? I dunno, I'm taking my truck off road a bunch, what's another scratch at this point...

Rather not have my window blow out, but perhaps the design allows enough flex etc.

Sell the suction cups (with mounting hardware) individually - so people can run more than one if they want and to replace ones that go bad.

I'll also echo the comment about more clearance at the roof line.

Seasucker has been using pump suction cups for years with great reviews. Bikes, highway speeds, a lot of leverage....

Clean glass and cup, I wouldn’t worry, especially since it is hard mounted to the rack.

The only things that jumped out to me was the roof line clearance and it would be cool if it matched the profile of the window for that 4R look. With maybe a 45 degree brake bend in front to deflect wind

Definitely interested if compatible with Gobi stealth.

I know Joes is solid and stands up well in different climates. If I had the right rack I would have gotten one by now. I do like that Joes covers more surface area.
But I also have not been let down by Victory4x4 yet.
