Exterior Side Accessory Panel NOW AVAILABLE!
We have gotten lots of requests for this Exterior Side Accessory Panel. So here it is! Coming soon. It bolts to our roof rack and uses a vacuum suction cup to secure it to the window. Mount RotoPax, quick fist mounts, etc., tons of options! Who would be interested?

I like this! I have a 4th and 3rd gen though, no fancy roof-rack. But it gives me ideas on how to mount a rotopax on both the T4Rs

Any testing for fitment on an SSO rack? and I was wondering how secure the bottom is? Wouldn't want the suction cup to break loose, have the thing bouncing around and crack the window with the weight of a rotopax.

We have not tested on other racks, but I'm sure it could be made to work. The vacuum suction cup is extremely solid.

Regarding the vacuum suction cup. Is this one of the models that you physically "pump" the cup body to vacuum onto the glass? These are common in the glass industry for manually handling large sheets of glass and they are extremely effective even carrying glass sheets weighing several hundred pounds.

Yes exactly, there is a plunger pump on the suction cup.

Very cool, you'd probably get more interest if you could come up with an add on mount that would work with Gobi and Baja racks as well

I have a Victory rack and this is definitely intriguing if the price is reasonable.

Kind of looks like a broken window waiting to happen.
Here in AZ I've had terrible luck with suction cups holding things to the glass. Well, a few phone mounts anyways.
I really appreciate the effort that you guys put in to bring new products to market! This one just doesn't do it for me, but I will keep watching for the next one.

Should add more clearance along the top. That looks really close to the roofline.
Also, two suction cups on the side maybe? Just thinking about the panel flexing if there are heavier items on it. But I'm guessing that one is more than stable if the whole top section is mounted.

Awesome! Would love one that is compatible to the racks that dont have the flat side like yours. I have a gobi rack and would love to have this be compatible with that.
